The whole 2016 event will be run like the last session. We learn every year, and it has take us 4 years to see this way of doing it.

This years Sup Regs and Category Descriptions will be getting emailed out in the next 2-3 weeks, with entries opening online 2 weeks after that. Only those that have been emailed the regs will have their entries (if not already full) accepted. Email us at [email protected] if you are looking to enter this year

Just a friendly reminder for those that are looking to enter this year, that you need to email us at [email protected] with your entry EOI. We will be sending event regulations in reply to these email a few weeks before entries open.

We have sent confirmation emails out to all those that have emailed usThe next part of the entry process is that we will email the event Supplementary Regulation and Catergory Descriptions a few weeks before entry. The actual day and time of entry will be included in this email.- We will have 140 entries available on our entry list.- Entry priority will be initially given to previous entrants of the Snowy Mountains 1000. They must however enter within a 12hr period. After this, entries will be opened to all others that have emailed us.We would also highly recommend that if you have any other friends, family, workmates etc that wish to enter, that you encourage them to email us within the next 6 weeks.

Australia's Fastest Timed Runway Sprint is back for 2015Event : Snowy Mountains 1000What : 1000m Sprint on a RunwayWhen : Saturday, 28nd November, 2015Where : Snowy Mountains Airport, 1611 Kosciuszko Road, Cooma NSW- 140 entries up for grabs- 100m of hotmix at starting area.- Runway is 2.2km long with 1050m sealed braking area.- Over 13 motels, plus pub/hotel accommodation, camping/caravan parks and B&B's- Approx 1hr south of Canberra- Great viewing areas for spectators- Entertainment for the children- Trade Stands- We will also be running our charity rides again, racing money for the Cancer Council of NSW2014 times, and current national (and some international) records:

Australia's Fastest Timed Runway Sprint is back for 2014Event : Snowy Mountains 1000What : 1000m Sprint on a RunwayWhen : Saturday, 22nd November, 2014Where : Snowy Mountains Airport, 1611 Kosciuszko Road, Cooma NSW- 120 confirmed entries (Please Note: THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL. Entries sold immediately, so we are no longer taking entries)- Runway is 2.2km long with 1050m sealed braking area.- Lots of high powered cars to see, from Drag cars, Time Attack Cars, Highly Modified Street cars as well as all our place getters from last year. We will also be welcoming fellow racers from Western Australia's 'RaceWars' with their 1st and 3rd winners. All event and vehicle regulations have been emailed out. If you did not receive them or had not previously emailed us to receive them, please do so ASAP at [email protected].

If you are looking to enter this years event, that you need email us with your intention to enter. The reason we are asking people to email us, as we do every year, if due to:
1) Entries will be online via our website this year. This will include all vehicle and entrant details. This means Event and vehicle regs will be emailed out to all those that have emailed us one week before entries open. We have already had 250+ emails, from past and new entrants.
2) We have limited spots available for entrants. You need to email us so we can send you the event and vehicle regs when they are available.
3) Do not rely on others to get you entry info, eg, car clubs or mates. Email us yourself. -
The distance between the start line and the spectator area was 18m, and will be no closer this year.

Amp on the PA died at 10am. Was replaced by 1:30pm once we sourced another amp in Cooma on a Saturday
Times were on Natsoft all day, and each drivers times and speeds were SMS'd to them after each run
