    Quick query - do S1's and S1's have the same front reinforcement bar? Local wreckers only have an S1.

    I do realise that there's S2 reo bars on ebay =]

    Just want a quick second opinion.

    Running an S2 with Tein Superwagon coils.

    Looking at buying some 18x9.5 + 12, or 19x9.5 + 12 (would be running stretched tyres)

    I've had conflicting opinions on the matter; thought I'd post that up here for some quick clarification.

    Just noticed my sump plug is leaking a little bit of oil (yep it has a fiber washer on it).

    I went to repco, and they gave me the wrong plug.

    Does anyone know where to get one, or can they confirm that they're the same as an R34?

  4. Here's mine after throwing on the Blits front bar + sideskirts, and a HDI GT Spec R32/33/34 FMIC.

    As will most coolers I had to do the following:

    Cut a hole in the battery tray,

    Trim the fan blades,

    Cut out 2cm of the intrusion bar

    Trim a fair bit of the front bar.

    Create slightly larger holes where the factory piping went through (under the air filter)

    I didn't move the transmission cooler, but if I relocated it, the cooler would most definitely sit better.

  5. Hey there guys,

    I'm writing this in behalf of my brothers car. (It's a S1 93' Auto 33 gtst)

    Only mods to it are full exhaust, and FMIC. It's running stock boost atm.

    When he's driving the car gently, the car seems to say 2nd gear, unless he really puts his foot down, which will eventually trigger the car to get into third gear (and subsequently fourth).

    I really have no idea what it could be.

    If the accelerator is 'mashed' from the get go, the car goes through all the gears no problem. The issue is the car is a daily, and in it's current condition it's rather undriveable.

    Just want to know what it could be, and more-so a rough estimate of how much it 'should' cost to get fixed =P (He's been ripped in the past bigtime.)

  6. Hey there BLACK WARRIOR,

    I've got the same front + dump on my car, and when getting it installed, the guys at the exhaust shop needed to heat it up and bend it (only a touch), in order to make it fit just right. As all places will stress - there's a chance that it could crack when attempting this; but it ended up fine.

    Other members who have installed this themselves have all said the piece needs some 'massaging' in order to make it fit just right.

    It's a great mod for 200 bucks and I would definitely buy it again =) [but expect spending an additional 50 bucks for installation in order to make it fit just right]

    Instead of charging 450 + 330 + (315 shipping), I got both pieces for 700 + 290 shipping.

    I posted this yesterday, and I'm not sure why it's not in the forum but oh well =)

    A few months ago I got a Viper Alarm (5900 model) installed in my Stagea and unfortunately the individual installing it had no knowledge of the turbo timer and remote start functions. I would like to get these functions enabled on the alarm system if possible. The question is, does anyone know of a Viper Alarm specialist here in Perth?

    If so please let me know.
