[Timing Belt And Water Pump Replacement]

All day on Sunday I tried to figure it out, and I find that timing belt was over-tighten.

Sometimes when parts are new, they have to seat in. Also silicon from water pump and all new rotating parts make some kind of noise but must be constant all the time and not excessive!! Which happens in my case.

Sunday took me long time to pull apart and solve the problem. I didn't want to take off radiator and harmonic balancer which gaves me hard work but I make it ) tomorrow going for overhead gasket so no more period.

I did it today!! All good all new.

But when I started idles fine just noise is coming after 1500 rpm. Now wondering do the new pulleys make noise??

Or I overtightened some of belts?

Or that fan clutch runout of fluid ??

I do not know

[Series 2 Xanavi Climate Control To Standard Conversion]

Hi all

I have issue with unit that turns on and off and finally asking for program cd. Is there any way to keep old xanavi in place repaired or I must swap with previous cc unit??

Some ppl said there is bad connection tho I don't have time to check it

Anyway appreciate for this infos very usefully

[Series 2 Xanavi Climate Control To Standard Conversion]

Cool, Thanks heaps..

I bought the parts for the swap but by harness from the new Climate Unit wasn't very long.

I removed the Xanavi Climate Control Unit from under the dash, It is above the drivers left foot area. It is next to my handbrake (Auto). I opened it up and removed the connecters from the circuit board inside and created my own harness.

All working fine, although i have tested it at night for illumination.

New unit and my custom harness
