I'm not sure if ul need further mods (im sure someone can correct me) but I bought a powerfc and 044 and was running 14 psi in my 270s on a 33 turbo @14 psi, the injectors had no probs and I was putting out 260whp but only lasted 5 months til turbo went grenade style and bits of the wheel got caught in my intercooler pipes..as stated here a million times and I can vouch aswell running 14psi in a 33 turbo isn't that safe and I'd say stick to around 12psi and ul be safe..

  2. I had the same dramas before.What about in the morning when it's warming up is there any smoke after idling for a few minutes?. Mine had the same issues and we went thru everything to find the source but didn't find anything so thought it was turbo so it came off and a replacement went on only the next morning to start puffing smoke warming up and on some decels and stoping at lights etc etc. turned out to be the vss so ended up replacing with newer lower ks silver top. May be the turbo but won't put my house on it.

I had a td05 with gate welded on rear and never had any troubles,that said I'm now running a td06 on a modded stock mani with gate and no dramas there either..choice is yours and yes I've heard good and bad stories aswell but that didn't stop me doing it Just make sure it's a good job and don't skimp.If you have the cash a 6boost mani will yield more power top end tho.

  4. The 6l is a different animal to the 5.7 - more comp, WAY better heads and different ECU etc, tend to see better gains out of them once modified; from 240-260rwkw usually (on a Mainline), so yeah around 320fwkw or thereabouts.

    Bolt on Gen 4 6Ls often run mid to high 12s on the quarter FYI.

    Hmmm makes me wanna get down to Perth ASAP and take this to the plex,my car can run 12s flat all day and I have the slips from the plex to back that up as well, i may run a few more psi and see how I go then..also forgot to mention I'm driving a gts4 so grip is no problem and il start working on my launches :-)

  5. No the VE will pump your R32, TD06 or not.

    The only solution to this is to fit a L98/77 6L to your R32.

    Lol sorry but that's not the only solution bozodos a rb25 or 26 is a more natural progression not take a back step and fit a v8, my brother has the 5.7 ltr VY SS with extractors, full 2.5 inch zorst and some chip and I blow him away every time he gets serious and the 2 times we have been to the plex but seen as tho I know jack bowt the 6ltr I thought someone else would and can give some first hand help or experience with em..looks like the only way this is gonna be settled is on the track

  6. Didn't know where to post so thought I'd post up here..

    My sisters fiancée purchased a 2011 VE SS and has put extractors on with full exhaust,cold air intake and chipped it with a retune,he has also done some suspension work but nothing crazy..I'm not a hater of v8s and actually like the sound of a niiice cammed one but lately i can't stand his constant shit smack talk bowt my 32 and in his words ' these shitty 2 or 3 ltr rice cookers' thinking they are all this n that when any v8 could destroy em etc etc plus not to mention the teenage hoon mindset he has behind the wheel.He hasn't told me his dyno figure but I'm guessing it would be around the 320 kw give or take. NOW this is my question would my fairly moded 260 kw td06 equipped R32 beat the commo?, I work f.i.f.o in the mines atm so can't take my car to kwinana drags any given Wednesday so am trying to find if they still do Wednesday night drags? And what you guys think the out come would be, 1 good win for Japan or a win to the loud mouth punk in his 6ltr..

Cops are fkd and the whole hoon law is absolute bs..not even a hour ago I was driving the misses aurion and sped up to make the lights not knowing that there was a police bike on the other side of the lights and a unmarked cop car to the left of me. Ill be the first to say it was stupid as speeding is dumb but wtf if I was in my 32 for sure I would of been pulled over and done for sure as I hit 75 in a 60 zone. These laws are shit and bias and will only get more stupidly ridiculous until imports are a memory and ford and Holden rule the streets..bogans f*ktards and a % of the general population r shit drivers but there's no idiot laws for them so where's the fairness and equality for every person if you are judged by your car..

Best bet would be to ask around good workshops and or read th rb20 dyno thread mate..as for that I have a rb20 currently running th 350 hp region and have tried a few combos til I've stuck to th one I have now td06-20g. There is a lot of talk about these turbos on net and a few ppl running em on here with nice numbers but you will find 4k upwards (not to say it's flat as b4 that) is pretty much the point you will notice the rb20 making power on anything other then a small stock-ish type turbo..
