Saw a BP ultimate tanker the other day.... Felt like pulling a fast and furious job on it.
$1.71? Seriously?!
I paid yesterday $1.60 in remote NSW for 98!
Not kidding mate, in the last month I've seen as low as $1.49 ( M4 servo) to as high as $1.71 (Wetherill park BP)
-
BP Ultimate was $1.71 the other day...
Oh how times have changed

Holy hell mate that's some amazing power you have there ! I can barely keep my rear wheels to the ground with 251rwkw. I'd hate to imagine your situation !
-
Will try my best to come ! Just got the car finished up and have been meaning to meet some fellow SAUer's

I'm lucky that I live only 5 minutes away from Eastern Creek. Feel sorry for anyone that has to drive for hours just to legally give their car a run.

Thanks for the reply mate ill ring them up

Hey guys, just wanted some advice on repairing a carbon fibre hood, the weave is in good condition but the gel coat has been damaged (peeling), it's only peeling at front. The hood is also vented.
So where would use recommend I go (preferably western suburbs) and what price roughly I should be expecting ?
Cheers

I've must of been lucky I've picked up a coil cover and a gtr grill in good condition, for good prices as well.

Spotted white r33 GTR on the m4 just now BVS-xxx, swerving in and out of traffic..
Slow down you f**king idiot
-
Engine wise it's complete (thank god) body wise just doing a few little things in the new year..
And it likes the dust in my garage !
Haha yeah definitely

Spotted a white R34 coupe cruising around Norwest business park before 6:00am this morning. Nice car! :-)
Jen, I never see your car around ! Haha
Can't believe no one has spotted mine ! It's been in and out of unigroup the last 2 months ...
-
That one is rare, only one made in the history of Nissan because it was deemed to powerful to manufacture anymore.
I heard it was so powerful it could take away a girls virginity ? Believe it or not.
O.T - I always see a white r33 with orange wheels and a front bar with weird painted designs cruising through cowpasture road.
-
Pretty recently joined, I'm usually free during everyday of the week since I work early mornings.
Would be great to meet more members

My car just finished getting tuned yesterday, if I weren't busy tonight I would of went for my first run aswell !
Good luck though
-
Would you happen to be selling a front grill ?
-
Newcastle may have f**kwit drivers but please do not compare them to the absolute tools of the streets of Sydney...

^^ 278rwkw on 98ron on Unigroup dyno??
I would like to see a print out of that run.
Definitely an issue with the car returning that sort of economy. If O2 feedback is switched off with a Unigroup tune it still won't return that sort of economy. There is another issue IMO.
I have a big folder of reciepts from the previous owners, performance wise I'm going off a dyno dynamics dyno sheet which is the latest dyno sheet I can find. If I find the uni group one I'll post it up tomorrow. Why does that power figure sound surprising ?
Well hopefully it's not a big issue, the car seems to run 100% there's nothing unusual that happens when i drive.
-
depends on how hard you flog it
how are the afr's cruise for light load - air fuel ratio or it just a max power tune (most are)
does your 02 sensor work (most die after a few years)
is 02 feedback turned on
Well im usually running low boost (10psi) and here or there ill run it on high boost for abit of spirited driving
I actually dont know, since I've bought this car pretty recently about 2 months ago and the previous owner got it tuned at unigroup before he sold it (have receipts).
unigroup are supposed to be really good i believe
something is definitely up, i'd go back to unigroup and ask them to look into it
was it always this bad?
Yeah exactly, same from what Ive heard aswell. I will ask them to have a look anyway Since i bought the car two months ago it has always been like this.
Cruise AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) is the fuel ratio when you are cruising along at say 60km/h with minimum load on the engine. If the car runs rich at these points your fuel economy will be shocking (as this is where you will most likely be spending most of your time)
Got a dyno graph that shows the AFR's of the power run as well, if this is rich and your flogging it everywhere then this will have a pretty bad effect on economy, but seen as you wont be going for fuel economy while loading it up, i think the issue would more be cruise AFR's
Oh ok well thats something I'll check with unigroup .. but i have a feeling it may be this, thanks for the explanation. Plus there is barely any turbo lag, so im always boosting, even when i take it easy.
Thanks for all the replys.
-
Sorry mate but what do you mean by 'cruise AFRs' ?
And yes im pretty sure, as it makes no bov noise at all when set at minimum.
-
Its making 278rwkw, well unigroup were the last tuners to tune it, so i guess something happened between the last time it was tuned and now.
So I'll let them have a look at it.
Thanks for the quick reply mate !
