And you won't find a much larger Nismo fan over me. The badge is just another Nismo item, in fact i would get it solely to increase the number of nismo items you have lol.

haha yeah i get that im a huge fan to, my question though is that the S-tune badges in particular er34 S-tune items are not many at all potentially you could buy all the S-tune parts for a skyline and rep the S-tune badge, either way, i plan to show my badge and if people pull me up on it and ask what parts i have to wear the badge id be more than happy to go through my parts list hahahaha

  2. Yeh I think it's each to their own, I plan to stick my badge on once I install all my parts in the garage and even then im a little apprehensive as i know there will be some diehard Nismo fanatics that may deem my parts list not sufficient enough to rep the Nismo flag.

i plan to run the following

    GENUINE NISMO PARTS

    Nismo oil cap

    Nismo radiator cap

    Nismo low temp thermostat

    Nismo oil filter

    Nismo rear badge

    Nismo triple gauge cluster

    Nismo tachometer cluster

    Nismo Clear side indicators

    Nismo muffler

    Nismo front strut brace

    Nismo intercooler air duct

    Nismo oil change plate

  3. Hey guys a guy I use to know a guy that had a standard 318i BMW but he use to plaster it M3 badges grill, boot , side skirts etc despite not having any M parts on the car. This got me thinking is it ok to have Nismo badges on a stock car and if not how many Nismo parts before you can display a Nismo badge with the conviction that your car is worthy of it. I mean at the end of the day I don't care what people do with there cars but if your repping a tuner brand do you guys think you should have a minimum amount of parts.

  4. R34 25 GTT MAF issues i think ?

    Hi Everybody ,

Im having a few issues with my R34 GTT i brought it stock about 4 months ago. Before i took it through Regency in SA i have to remove the Gizzmo MSI-BC ( Boost Controller ). i did this buy just unplugging it and the vacuum line connected to it. To be honest i didn't really have a chance to check what the boost controller read before however i did notice that my stock Nismo Gauge as reading 0.2 some times under full throttle. But other times 0.6, i re installed the Boost controller and now my car is making 4PSI under full throttle all the time. ive checked the lines and i dont think its a boost leak ive taken off the air box and fitted it with  pod filter. A friend of mine said its possible the the MAF and also a combination of a faulty boost sender unit as sometimes the boost gauge works but some times not. Car idles and drives fine but just nothing more then 4 psi when my foot is down. Its probably also worth mentioning that the boost controller hasn't been set up so at the moment its just a glorified digital boost controller.

Agreed, looks like all HICAS stuff - you'll have a light on your cluster and steering may get heavy like no power steering, but should otherwise be fine. As has been said, if you're not confident, just tape them all separately and take it to an auto sparky, otherwise just re-join the colours.

I've done that now but I've got my abs hicas traction control and slip light all on when I turned the car on thoughts ?

Looks like all the hicas wiring. Now that's a fantastic reason to get rid of it altogether.

Your going to have to match all those wires up and join them back together properly. Otherwise the hicas computer isn't going to be happy.

Those dogs are going to need a good talking to as well...

Can I take out the fuse or something so the wires don't short out the car and then wait till I can get it to an auto Elec ? Or Is it best to leave it . The dogs ......... I'm over it love them but just constantly ruining my life

  7. Hi guys i didn't want to start a new post even though this issue has been sorted out, i have been looking for a chat that tells me how to take my headlights out on my 34 but i cant find one , this is my second 34 and on my first one it was very easy to change bulbs. But on my sires 2, 2001 gtt i cant fit my hands in there even though i have removed the airbox and battery. dose any one know why this may be ?. there seems to be less room in there from when i had my sires 1, some one please shed some light for me.

  8. Lol

    4th gen is so sexy

VTiR allows high revving all day

    What's your budget then?

It's a bit hard to resell some cars; so even if it's a daily, one should be pretty selective.

I'm thinking around the 2.5k mark is honestly be happy with an AE82 twincam rolla but I can't find one for the life of me I love the 4AGE engine maybe I watched to much initial D ? Hahaha

  9. I opted for Prelude VTiR 5th gen and then 4th gen in between GTRs.

I'll try and locate Morley's Report on the 4th gen

Hey man I had a 4th gen vtir and my girlfriend drives a 5th gen vtir I loved it but I'm can't be trusted with vtec Hondas the urge to spend money on them is to much for me lol that's why I want something I can't really touch bar your standard pod filter and stuff post-99784-13832347867318_thumb.jpg

  10. Ok guys I'm going to post this in the DIY section but I'll post it here for you guys first

    Items you will need :

carbon fiber wrap (eBay stuff is fine)

    drill with small drill bit

    Scissors / hobby knife

    Double sided tape ($3.00 eBay)

Clear amber Led strip ($6.00 eBay)

    X2 Led decoder ($7.00 eBay)

    Step 1

remove your old indicators you can do this with a flat head screwdriver make sure you wrap it in a cloth so you don't damage the paint.

    Step 2

Cover the indicator with carbon fiber wrap or you can just spray the black if you don't want to use cf wrap.

    post-99784-1383126553458_thumb.jpg

    Step 3

Next drill a small hole in middle on any side (be carful as they do tend to crack)

    post-99784-13831266863944_thumb.jpg

    Step 4

Once that is done get the led indicators and feed the wires through the hole. post-99784-13831269783807_thumb.jpg

    Step 5

Once the wires are through apply the double sided tape to the led strips or strip depending on what you go for. Once there tape is on stick them down how you want.

    post-99784-13831271043712_thumb.jpg

    Step 6

Now comes the part that you decide. You can either put the wires into the existing globe socket and put your existing globe in there this will stop the hyper flashing once that's done you can plug them in and away you go. If you want to go down the other path read step 7. post-99784-13831273015297_thumb.jpg

    Step 7

If you want things 100% safe the steps are similar.

Take the lens off your indicators you can do this by melting the glue around the sides I put mine in the oven on 70 for 6-7 minuets (don't quote me use the forums I'm sure they have a better way)

Once that's done wrap the lens in carbon fiber and drill the hole in the lens

Put the wires through the hole and the connect the wires to the led decoder (solder them better connection) post-99784-13831278677772_thumb.jpgpost-99784-13831278832642_thumb.jpg

You will need to have the led decoder sitting the the indicators itself there is plenty of room for it. Make sure the t20 globe adaptor is hanging out the other side where you plug the light in. post-99784-13831281576142_thumb.jpg

Once that's done test it. You don't want to glue it then have to un glue it!. Once you have tested it glue the lens back on some cilicone or gasket sealer should do the job leave to dry over night the it's a simple plug and play.
