Buying My First Skline :D

Hey guys as the topic says I am looking at getting my very first skyline, I am probally gonna get a 32 GTST or GTS4. or mabye a 33 GTS-t. I just wanna know what sorta price is good for these, and anything major that could be wrong with it that I should look for. also any good places in brisbane that you know are good dealers to buy off. thanks alot, help much appreciated

With an R32, make sure it hasnt been thrashed about, because of the age, also parts for R32's are expensive as they do not overlap with any other model.

i think that R32 parts are very easy to find and some parts from a RB25, RB26, and a RB30 will fit onto the RB20. i have a new water pump that is meant to be on a RB30.. the RB series engine have pretty much the same bottem end.. well maybe some minor things but nothing to be worried about.

it depends on what shape skylines YOU!!!!!!!!!! like the best. i got a R32 GTS4 because i like the r32 better than the R33. but thats just me. one other thing to think about is that the R33 has a better engine and gearbox than the R32's have.

depends where you go. I have never had problems with parts for mine.

in saying that though, I'm in sydney, not sure about melbourne. shame too, I am selling mine now and its a nice one that I haven't "thrashed" its a 93 model.

I have been to the track 3 times but never over done it, never been drag racing either. as much as you might think it silly, I respect my car and don't want to kill it doing stupid things.
