  1. All good points and I agree, like I said I was'nt cop bashing I was just giving a heads up. The times I have been pulled over in the Skyline for a RBT/licence check have both been between 1 and 2am. When I start work at this time I drive like a granny because you stand out like a sore thumb. I am almost thankful for the licence check because its nice to know if your car gets stolen there is a slight chance they may get caught. As for the mods, my car is basicly stock except for wheels and exhaust. And if its alright for the 1000's of other cars like commy's and falcons to get away with it should be fine for us. He could've been spinning me a yarn about the blitz, but it could be true, so thats why I shared it. Play on.....and drive safe!
  2. Yeah it was Northern suburbs, cant wait for ACDC either!
  3. Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up about the blitz coming up. On my way to work this morning cruising along within the speed limits I passed a police car going in the oposite direction. Then they do the old U-turn and follow me before pulling me over, it was about 1-30am and its not the first time this has happened. Although it never happened when I was driving the Falcon to work funny enough! So I get the usual RBT and licence check, all ok. Then I get a warning that my exhaust might be a little low, due to my age (31) and work uniform I guess he let it slide. But he did leave me with a warning that they are about to have a blitz on "high performance" cars and I can expect to be pulled over again and checked for defects etc. Basicly told me that I should get all mods engineered. He said they wer'nt really after "car enthusiasts" but more after people that were likely to wrap it around a tree. This is by no means a shot at the police, although its annoying getting pulled over just for driving a Skyline. (I had'nt be pulled over for 10years+ before the Skyline, now twice in 6months in the Skyline) Its just a warning that due to some of the horrific crashes lately it looks like we all have to suffer and just to be prepared for this blitz.
  4. Looks nice, btw mine makes 151kw on stock boost, so you should have a little more running 11psi.
  5. Mate its a piece of piss! Print this guide out and follow it, its great - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...lu-t228667.html Just remember to check the globes are in the the right direction and working before putting everything back together. I put 1 globe in at a time and the tested it, as you work across the cluster you'll see it light up with each globe.
  6. All my window problems are sorted now! Thankyou for the guide and all the helpful people out there!
  7. All good mate, I rang the bloke I got the motor from. He advised me to reverse the wires as you suggested. He said it may have been rewired wrong when it got refurbished. So I swapped the wires and it works like new! Very happy camper! Thankyou to everyone the helps on this forum!
  8. I tell you its starting to do my head in! I just checked the wires again, and they are plugged in the exact same way as the old motor was. The wires are the exact same colour aswell. I checked the passengers side motor wires and they are slightly different. So looks like it is the right motor etc. Could it be anything else, like the black box causing this? Also would a I do any damage if I tried the wires around the other way?
  9. No longer required, attempting to fix the switch. Able to use the S2 switch for parts. Thanks anyway.
  10. Cheers for that, thats how I thought it should work. As Talbo said in another thread, the polarity must be wrong on my new motor. Which is weird as the plug only goes together one way.
  11. Thanks for the tutorial, will be trying this today when I get home from work. Also can someone please tell me the exactly how the drivers window button should function? eg- do you pull button up to wind down auto and push forward to raise window fully auto? As I have replaced the motor and mine is functioning like this!
  12. Thats awsome thizzle, thanks for the heads up. Will be trying that today.
  13. As stated I need a S1 R33 drivers side window switch. Must be in good condition, I dont want to burn out another window motor. I have a excellent condition S2 switch that doesnt fit, so maybe someone can do a swap/deal for me. Prefer pick up from Sydney.
