  1. Actually I think what I am wanting to find is called the Vehicle Information display... or is that the leaf screen??
  2. Hi guys, First-off I'm NOT asking if there are conversions etc. etc. etc. Been down that path and know where it leads. Not interested in converting etc. and am happy remembering the buttons I need to push to get what I want. I have the standard factory Japanese heads-up display computer with the standard buttons. I have figured out how to bring up the fuel efficiency/emissions (the green leaf etc.)/range and mpg. What I would like to know is if there is also a screen that I can get to that shows other info - i.e. oil pressure, oil temp, gearbox oil temp and other engine/mechanical data etc. I seem to remember my dad having a blown Stagea 350GT and it had a screen you could get to that showed engine data (possibly turbo PSI?)? If anyone knows of any useful screens I can learn how to navigate to using the standard Japanese set-up I would love to know! Any useful displays would be great to look at occasionally Cheers and thanks Luke
  3. I should add that the noise will happen regardless of whether I am accelerating, braking, or rolling - it's just more obvious when my foot is on the brake. It's always the same time after moving off - usually about 30 seconds. Cheers
  4. I have noticed an odd noise that I assume is the traction control unit. Each time I start up and move off, within a few second of moving off a strange 'burp'-like noise occurs - the vibrations of which can be felt through the brake pedal in particular. This happens without fail every time I move after starting the car up. After that it's fine. I noticed the same noise but extended when the traction control was operating after going around a tight, steep and slippery up hill corner. Any insight? Thanks Luke
  5. Hi everyone, Does anyone know if you can get a 'Bluetooth minidisc' aux input - similar to the old cassette tape aux devices, where you put the cassette tape in and plug your device into the cable to link to the cars speakers. No idea whether they exist but I'm after a minidisc version that is Bluetooth, to replace the cable! Cheers Luke
  6. Oh.... ok! Thanks for that. Is this cable 'un-pluggable' and a more appropriate lead can be fitted to enable smartphones to be hooked up, or is the jack/software/connection not compatible? Thanks!
  7. H everyone, I'm new to this forum and have just bought my first Skyline/first Japanese car. Loving it so far and the difference between european cars of the same performance is startling. Certainly more bang for your buck with a Skyline! I have a CPV35 Coupe and have delved into the whole conversion of the factory system etc. That's on hold for now... But I am after some info on the possibly factory (?) aux cable found in the centre console. Any insight on what this is for, where I can get an adapter from etc. etc. and whether it is indeed connected at the other end. Once again any insight and info appreciated. Please see photographs below
