  1. This is another picture of what it was. I was thinking of things like bed mechanisms and cars, lol way off.
  2. "It is an egg beater peddle used by Mountain bikers. Made by Crank Brothers." Dam
  3. Yeh thats what i thought too. They wont give us any hints
  4. Hi guys, Anyone know what this is? Competition at work, first person to guess it gets a prize so I dont have long http://img356.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picaf1.png
  5. Thanks for the reply guys. I think it might be time to give the coilovers the flick. I don't know if I want to go all the way back to stock, but I would like a happy medium. That bilsteins & whitelines combo sounds interesting, I will look into it.
  6. I've never adjusted them - sounds like I should though. I always figured it mainly affected ride height and didnt affect stiffness that much.
  7. Sorry should have made it a bit more bold in my first post. My suspension is: Tomei Adjustable Coilovers + Front and rear Strut braces How much different is coilovers to stock suspension? Is it massive or just noticeable. I drive 1 hour+ too and from work in traffic which is probably the worst part.
  8. Hi guys, I currently own a 1993 R32 GTS-T Skyline and i love it but theres a few things that over the past year have just started to get to me. First here is the specs of it: Colour: White Bodykit: GTR Front Bar/GTR Wing/Stock Skirts Engine: RB20DET Engine Mods: Apexi Pod, Z32 AFM, Greddy BOV, GTR FMIC, Apexi PowerFC ECU, Tomei fuel pump, Turbo timer Power: Not sure havnt got it dynoed yet, my guess is around 150rwkw Exhaust: 3" Gearbox: Stock Diff: 1.5 Way Brakes: Cross-drilled and slotted discs Suspension: Tomei Adjustable Coilovers + Front and rear Strut braces Wheels: 17" LMGT Nismo Interior: GTR Front and Rear Seats, Momo steering wheel Other Mods: 3 electronic guages (boost, oil temp, exhaust temp) with holder. EL dash, gear knob, undercar neons (lol), and more stuff that i cant rememeber Well I will list the 2 main things that are getting on my nerves: 1. Suspension - My roads around my area arnt very good so most of my drive feels like a mosh pit...well im over exagurrating but its just uncomfortable. Now i expected this going from a VS S Pack commodore, but its just annoying now. Its just really rough and so stiff. I know this is because of the coilovers but I dont know how much different stock suspension actually is or if there might be something wrong. Any bump you wouldnt feel in the VS you certainly feel it in the skyline, sometimes i wonder if theres even air in my tires (ive checked). 2. Low down power - Its so dead off the line, i hate having such a gutless car before boost. When its on boost its fine but when driving in general traffic i feel like i have to floor it for it to take off decently. Considering majority of my driving is on/off like that and usually at lower speeds (as its a daily driver more than anything else) it just doesnt seem to suit me. And the cop attraction is pretty bad but that is also to be expected especially when I'm on my P's still for a few months. Ive had a few fun ones like being told i cant drive my car because its a turbo (i live in victoria) and numerous (random license checks) Now I know all the points are obvious and expected when I bought the car but I was seeing if other people don't seem to have these issues as bad as I do. Ive considered even selling it and buying something like an Xr6 Turbo (a bit more practical) or if still wanted a skyline then a r32 gtr for the low down power problem. Any advice?
  9. Can't say I agree with it, I mean its definatly a very nice car but it just doesnt look like a skyline should, new or old.
  10. Hey, Got defected yesterday for bov (plumb back) but apparntly something was dangerous about it. Pod + intercooler and being too low. I want to see if anyone has a stock R32 airbox for sale with brackets and everything needed to replace my pod? Thanks, Stewart
  11. I didn't even relise the 33 was illegal to drive on p's. I see so many r33 gts-t's with p plates i guess i just assumed. The 32 will still suit me just fine but i still liked the option of being able to buy a 33 I was actually going to look at a nice stock '97 33 gts-t today until i read this Thanks for the heads up
  12. Yeh thats what i thought, just was hoping for something Now I just have to make the choice of r32 or r33 gts-t
  13. Hi Guys, First of all I'm 20 in 2 months I've done alot of searching but can't seem to find what im looking for. Now the victoria law for high powered vehicles is that p plates can't drive cars that are more than 125kw per tonne. A stock R32: Max power 206kW @ 6800rpm Weight 1480kg Which works out to be a power to weight ratio of 140kw which is 15 more than legal limit. Now my question is can I turn down the boost to get around it? If the cops pulled me over and said your cars too powerful would I get somewhere to get it tested? Then i could just turn down the boost for the test and turn it back up afterwards. Sounds too easy to me, but anymore information regarding this or experiances people have would be great. I really want a R32 GTR but if I just cant have one then i might just get a R32 GTS-T. I currently have a V6 VS commodore so the performance jump would still be alot, so if I cant have a GTR i will just have a gts-t for now until I can get a GTR. I could wait another year and a half until I'm off my P's but theres a few reasons that will save me money to buy a new car now rather then wait. Thanks for your input in advanced. Cheers, Stewart
  14. If this was in Victoria id probably snap it up
