I am trying to fix it on the cheap to stop my mum having to pay the excess, hence not wanting to head to a garage to check the codes. What contacts? i have seen that plug when we replaced the ignition -Jake

Thanks for the replys, How do i check the code? after googling it i came across heaps of answers on how to do this, and sat there for about 1/2 an hour turn the car off and on, pressing the accelerator in and out. and the light never flashed. The switch is on in the middle, and mum just told me that it used to dim, so this has only happened since the attempted theft. thanks again -Jake

G'day, My mum brought a C34 about a month ago, and during the week some milkshake tried to steal it, They stole a pivot speed meter (just cut it out) not sure if this might cause any problems? After replacing the ignition barrel, i took it for a drive, and after hitting mild boost (1/4 throttle for about 10 seconds) the engine light came on, and has been on ever since. Also the interior light doesn't turn off when the ignition is turned on (unsure if it is meant to as have barely driven it) Any help would be great, as i want to get it back to how it was for her -Jake

it doesnt look that bad, and should be fixable quite easly. otherwise todd (catkicker) might have one? and it could be worse, one of my mates brothers brought a brand new XR6 sedan, took it on a road trip, and a roo hit his car, smashed the rear drivers side door in pretty bad -Jake

oh, well the only bits i have that might help is 90% of the relays out of the engine bay, you can have them for free if you pick them up -Jake

what parts are you after? i had a R30 that i wrecked, still have a few parts laying around -Jake

there is also a loop of wire on the loom near the back of the engine, if you put the timing lead on this it will flash and work alright, i did my timing off this and worked fine, but some people say its the dwell and not the timing, so i dunno?? -Jake

Gday people, i will be at the drift day watching and supporting everyone there, but as i have a R31 and im a whinger i wont be competing i have a few sets of 14" stocko R31 rims with tyres (tyres down to wear indicators) but if anyone wants to borrow them for drift day they are more than welcome, i dont care about the tyres, but i will want the rims back -Jake

it was a 4door aus sedan, but due to lack of interest from anyone the car was sent to the crusher. i do still have the frount shockies and steering rack if anyone is interested? they are free or they will end up the the tip -Jake

gday, i have a R30, running gear is missing but nearly everything else is there, parts are FREE!!!!!!! most pannels are in good condition, bonnet is straight but will need a re-spray as i attacked with with spray paint if you want any parts, bring a spanner up and take it away or i will take parts off you and post them for quite a small fee -Jake

Gday people, im just wondering roughly what people paid for their cooler piping and where they got it done? i have a 600x300x76 (justjap) cooler to go into my R31, im probably going to get mild steel piping as i cant realy afford stainless, but still wondering on prices? cheers -Jake

Sam, its still for sale $150, but cant realy be Rego'd only good for bush basher or spare parts. cheers for the replys guys, i installed an aftermarket temp gauge the other day, and now its leaking water from where i installed it, so more work for me on sunday cheers -Jake
