The L24e is notched for the N47 head, I did not notice this when I put the N47 heads on my ( e30 ?) L24 block, after a minute the valves 'self cleared' but if you have it apart, I would suggest you do it. Nigel

$100 sounds ok for a good complete head, I wont be in Launcestone for another 3-4 week though. Nigel

fill the catch can with steel wool, or the stainless twisted cleaning pads, the oil vapor catches on this and should be caught so the theory goes. unless you have to much blow-by Nigel
