  1. Selling my Alpine Type X 12" subwoofer in custom box This is the top of the range subwoofer from Alpine which retails for $699 Awesome power output and the name says it all. I don't have the car anymore so this one has to go. This woofer is in perfect condition and was working nicely when removed from the car. Selling price: $350 Pick up only - location Melbourne Eastern Inner Suburb
  2. that's nice clubsport but I am pretty much happy with my GTT at the momemt, good luck Jess..
  3. Thanks Jake, Yeah, I am definitely thinking of lowering it but not too much that the tires disappear under the arch. not super low.!! Currently I have a good clearance between the tires and guards - so I think I should be pretty much alright with the above sizes and bit of lowering !!! cheers.
  4. Hello guys, I am looking to change my stock wheels of R34 GTT now. My eyes are very much set on the Volk Racings GT-S with gold spokes and silver trim. I am a newbie so don't know much about the sizes that would fit my car without any mods to the guards. What would be the best wheel width for fronts and rears for 18" and the offset ( I like those deep dish ones) - that would look cool without rolling the guards !!! also, I am thinking of lowering it with tein's coilovers. 18" x 8.5 (or 8) +27 for front?? 18"x 9.5 (or 9) +30 for rears?? Any help?
  5. Hi guys, what would be the best place to keep amp in R34's car boot? any ideas guys? or pics? I don't want to spend heaps on car boot setup. Thanks.
  6. hmm, I can see that I missed some other cool rides as I came late... but it was good to see some nice cars.... thanks for uploading photos guys..
  7. Hello guys, I am posting something for the first time, have been reading a lot many posts for the last 6-8 months. well, I'm looking for a good sub for my new R34 which I bought 2 months ago. Just want to get any review on these pioneer slimline subwoofers, are they any good for serious bass !? they are great as space savers but not sure about the output. Thanks.
  8. I have a similar problem. Had my system installed by a prof, as I don't know much abt it. I have that ebay double din dvd player, Pioneer 6" splits and 6.5" rear speakers. I don't even run an amp or sub. I still get engine buzzing noise from my splits with revs. The guy who installed the system blames everything on the head unit, could this be problem of head unit ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Bhushan.
  9. what about a sub in R34? there is very little space available. I wonder if I could put atleast an 8" sub woofer !!! would any of you suggest the best 8" sub?
