  2. hey guys, so this afternoon I was having a little bit of fun in the wet and I was on full lock and heard a bit of a splashing kind of noise. Thinking it was just a puddle I drove home. And as I got to the next intersection I thought the car has stalled as the steering was super heavy. Steering feels fine when driving along it just goes heavy at low speeds. I had a look under the bonnet and the reservoir was still full and it wasn't leaking anymore than it already was. So with no visual leaks, would could this be? Something let loose in the power steering pump ? Any help will be much appreciated !!

    Cheers !

  3. So on the weekend I put different front coilovers in my gtst and now the steering wheel is shaking like crazy at about 120. I don't know if maybe a wheel weight has come off and its just a coincidence that it did it after i swapped struts. Besides an inbalance or a bent rim what could cause this? Could it have anything at all to do with the different coilovers?

    Cheers!

  4. They were complete coilovers. Struts, springs and all that jazz. I took them out of my brothers 33 gtst which was sitting at a good height still with adjustment to go lower so I put them in my car without adjusting and it jacked my car up. I wound them completely down so they can't go any lower and it still barely looks lowered! So I'm thinking it must be the actual body of the coilover. The photo is how it sits now completely wound down.

  5. Okay I need something cleared up and can't be bothered using search on my phone. Are GTR front shocks shorter shocks than a gtst? Because today I put some gtst front coilovers into my gts4 and even with the coilovers fully wound down it barely even looks lowered! They were free so I'm not complaining but I'm just curious.

    Cheers!1

  6. Got it all off ! I got a supercheap club plus card and sharpened an edge on the concrete and soaked the crap out of the sticky stuff with 5.56 which is just a cheap WD40. It came off so easy took me 5 minutes to do the whole side of the car when earlier it took me a good 15 mins just to do the tiny but on the front quarter, and didnt mark the paint at all! Would recommend doing this to anyone that gives it a go i was suprised at how easy it came off ! There are still a few tiny specs but i think they should come off with a good polish !

thanks for your help ARTZ, was having a mind blank didnt even think to use a plastic card !
