  2. After a pair of only front coilovers for an r33 gts4. Gtr coilovers would be ideal but I think any base adjustable will do.
  3. Looking to buy front coilovers for my r33 gts4 so r32/33 gtr. Not sure if 34 is the same aswell? And a prop shaft to make it 4wd again Cheers
  4. Cheers mate so that's just with the base wound up as far as you can?
  5. Could you wind them as low as they can go and measure from the top to the bottom and get back to me? Its just I put gtst coilovers in my gts4 and they couldn't go low enough but these look like they could get a fair bit lower
  6. Did these come out of a gtr? Does the base screw up for height adjustment? Would you separate front and rear? Could you pm me my pm is stuffing up.
  7. Fixed itself! Thinking was possibly just the belt slipping as it was quite loose or maybe the pressure switch stuck open
  8. not too sure, ive been doing a bit of thinking and im thinking it could be the pressure relief valve stuck open or something so it cant build up any pressure ?
  9. hey guys, so this afternoon I was having a little bit of fun in the wet and I was on full lock and heard a bit of a splashing kind of noise. Thinking it was just a puddle I drove home. And as I got to the next intersection I thought the car has stalled as the steering was super heavy. Steering feels fine when driving along it just goes heavy at low speeds. I had a look under the bonnet and the reservoir was still full and it wasn't leaking anymore than it already was. So with no visual leaks, would could this be? Something let loose in the power steering pump ? Any help will be much appreciated !! Cheers !
  10. Got a balance and all good ! Thanks for the help lads
  11. Yeah damper adjustable and I've got them reasonably firm at the moment. But my front tyres are really bald on the inner edges. Getting a balance today to see if it improves anything. Cheers. Wheel alignment shouldn't really cause shaking though I don't think.
  12. So on the weekend I put different front coilovers in my gtst and now the steering wheel is shaking like crazy at about 120. I don't know if maybe a wheel weight has come off and its just a coincidence that it did it after i swapped struts. Besides an inbalance or a bent rim what could cause this? Could it have anything at all to do with the different coilovers? Cheers!
  13. They were complete coilovers. Struts, springs and all that jazz. I took them out of my brothers 33 gtst which was sitting at a good height still with adjustment to go lower so I put them in my car without adjusting and it jacked my car up. I wound them completely down so they can't go any lower and it still barely looks lowered! So I'm thinking it must be the actual body of the coilover. The photo is how it sits now completely wound down.
  14. Okay I need something cleared up and can't be bothered using search on my phone. Are GTR front shocks shorter shocks than a gtst? Because today I put some gtst front coilovers into my gts4 and even with the coilovers fully wound down it barely even looks lowered! They were free so I'm not complaining but I'm just curious. Cheers!1
  15. Got it all off ! I got a supercheap club plus card and sharpened an edge on the concrete and soaked the crap out of the sticky stuff with 5.56 which is just a cheap WD40. It came off so easy took me 5 minutes to do the whole side of the car when earlier it took me a good 15 mins just to do the tiny but on the front quarter, and didnt mark the paint at all! Would recommend doing this to anyone that gives it a go i was suprised at how easy it came off ! There are still a few tiny specs but i think they should come off with a good polish ! thanks for your help ARTZ, was having a mind blank didnt even think to use a plastic card !
