  2. I peeled the black rubber strips down the side of my r33 gts4 off the other day, i baked the car in the morning sun and peeled them off. One side came off just like a sticker and didnt leave anything behind. The other side i think may of been reglued on or something at some stage and has left this sticky shit behind?! Tried soaking it with WD40 and soaking it in the sun it is a little bit easier but still so stuck on there. Wondering if anyone has some you beaut way of removing it?! Any help will be greatly appreciated, Cheers !
  3. Baked my car in the sun today and removed the black rubber strips down the side of the car, one side left heaps if glue shit behind just wondering what the easiest way to get it off is? (Safely)
  4. Don't personally like that style I prefer two square lamps. Each to their own though. Im gonna try get hold of a dremel with a circular attachment or even one of those renovator tools and try cut out the outter lense along the little dip around the diameter of it. I will take pictures as I go and keep you updated. Fingers crossed it turns out reasonable haha!
  5. That's how I sprayed the inside bit black, it separates at a different part to the part I want to leave off
  6. They look sick! I really wanna give this a go people must have done it before ! I just don't know the best way of removing that outter lense, I think you have to cut it out
  7. Yeah I was thinking of getting Perspex protectors cut to size to put over the lamps. I'm just not too keen to fork out money for new headlights. In that picture they look like the standard lamps.
  8. So recently i removed my lenses and sprayed the chrome surrounding in the headlights black, and after doing that my headlights fog up with any sight of moisture which is really annoying. I knew it was a possibility to happen but i took the risk anyway. So now i want to remove the outside lense completely like this. Anybody done it?
  9. Just recently swapped a 91 commodore ute for a 94 r33 gts4. But the front propshaft has been removed for mad Hektik driftszsSzZzz! So I'm keen to get one and connect it up, I'm all for sliding an having fun but I don't see the point of lugging around the extra weight of a diff for no reason.
  10. On pretty low wages though would rather do myself and save coin

  12. Just wondering if you can remove the headlight lense to black out the chrome inside the headlight? Seen pictures of it done and looks chilled. Anyone have a link to a write up or any info would be good! Cheers .
