  1. Well im assuming its perfect because everything else has bolted up and lined up perfectly no problems
  2. Nah we rebuilt it all ourself, cut the chassis rewelded the new front chassis on. Everything is in perfect alignment
  3. Hmm thats weird... Mines only a GT but i doubt that would make the difference. You shouldnt need to use a pry bar to get them in? Should they just line up to the bolt holes straight up?
  4. Cheers, will measure up see if they are the same
  5. Haha decals are still good apart from the ones on the panels that need replacing, i will get those bits redone in memory of paul walker
  6. Nope because mine is front end and his is on the side they take it as my fault so im paying the excess
  7. Yep guys thats my car haha, got cut up by a magna. I am rebuilding it now though and have almost finished, completely cut and rewelded chassis and will respray again.
  8. Hey guys just rebuilding my R34 after it had a crash and ive came across a bent part not sure whats its actually called looks like a track control link arm. Was very difficult to put in, had to use a prybar to stretch it to line up to the bolt holes. Thats the drivers side the reason im not sure if its meant to bent like that is because it looks like a manufactured bend, normally when parts bend they flake paint or crease, this has none of that. The passengers side is dead straight though
  9. i originally wanted to get an RX7 FD3S and put the veilside fortune body kit on it, but then i just thought about buying an R34 and when i did i thought about the decals and went with it because i just simply thought they looked good not because of the fast n furious franchise but just that they genuinely look good on the car. With the LED's ive been messing around with underglows and interior lighting way before this so i decided to put it on mine because it gives a bit of entertainment at car meets. (have the sub going and everything beats to the music, i thought its pretty cool)
  10. Just an update: Ive now added my other circuit in for my LED underglow and interior lighting hooked up to a 3 way switch, so i can now switch between having my LED's on , off or beating to the bass of the music
  11. nah i prefer not to, it being an N/A and all i plan to just save as much as i can for when i get off my P's ( 1 year ) and get a turbo R34 hopefully. Many people say performance mods on an N/A are hopeless they dont really get you anywhere and a waste of money.
  12. i tried to do it myself first thats what the first pic was of on the start of this topic, it failed, i pulled the decals off and it ripped the paint of my car because who ever tried to respray it before me failed and the paint wasnt sticking to the primer properly so then i ended up respraying my car myself (bonnet, rear quarters, wing, tail light covers, door and roof) I then decided to buy the decals again except this time pay a sign place to install them for me. Gave me a flat rate of $200 for install
  13. cutting springs never works out, they dont sit right and shit just starts to happen to the ride, had someone do it on a golf before and when you went full lock it started to click
  14. hahhaha loving the edit, i wish i could buy better rims, the chromes came with when i bought the skyline, i just dont have 1k+ to spend on rims, being an apprentice mechanic the wage sucks Thankyou, appreciate it. I was parked in a car park the other day and a guy was driving out and he actually stopped his car in the middle of the car park and got out to take a photo.
  15. Mate are you kidding? I posted the photo like last week, read the comments, idk why it was removed from my post. Repost:
  16. Im getting my name reprinted on my birth certificate to Brian soon, cant wait =D
  17. Ive got to taking the wheel and airbag off and then i get to this what seems to be a black plastic harness (it spins with the wheel and contains a wire belt inside) I have to take this plastic thing off for the boss kit to fit on but this is where the harness plugs into for the horn to work and airbag, Has anyone done this? How can you get the boss kit on and wire up the horn to the boss for it to work?
  18. 3 - 4 coats, first 50% coverage, 2nd fill, 3rd full coverage, 4th extra
  19. Plasti dipped rims before, you knock em a little bit with the lug nut and the whole thing starts to shit itself and peel off, i.e you get brake dust all over it it does not wash off without bits coming off
  20. One is saying $70 an hour and about 4 hours but knowing them they will prolong it to 5 hours or some shit The other is saying $90 an hour and 3 - 4 hours but depending on what type of vinyl it is depends on how long it will take. Plasti dip is terrible..... it will come to washing my car and the sponge would just wash the plasti dip off with it
  21. Dont have money to do it yet, all companies ive tried are over pricing the quotes of installation too
