You can order nistune with mods as a base map already catered for ! It's still a base map but it will run the car fine , just did one for a rs4s z32, 500cc injectors , and a hyper gear 3076 highflow , the just use a base image of those mods on there , and nistune do tune for r&d and some others as well , I know coz I tune with Pete

Thanks, this was the understanding that I had, you give them a list of the mods and they create a base image for that so that you can drive it to the tuner of your own choice.

From what I read and understood the stock turbo doesn't last to long on 11psi? I do a lot of km in this car, last year did 75k. So I thought the upgrade was best idea.

Currently only have pod filter, splitfire coils, 3" turbo back exhaust, radiator air deflector. As for the power goals I don't want too much more but was thinking hi flow turbo, nistune. If I have to maybe injectors and fuel pump if needed.

Spoke to the guys at JEM and I think they saw me coming, got quoted $1400 to fit and tune. Is this normal? And 3-4 days to get installed and tuned.

My suggestion is to speak with JEM before you do anything then.

Nistune won't give you a base tune to suit your mods.

It will be exactly the same as stock once the Nistune board is installed.

Then the tuner can change the map to suit.

Nistune don't tune cars. They make and sell the hardware and software so cars can be tuned.

Thanks for the info. I have checked out the nistune site and read every page 5 times hahaha. I just don't know all the little things like what sort of turn around time they have, how accurate the base image/tune is. What I am really trying to find out is should I buy another ECU send that to nistune, get all the other bits and pieces together then get it tuned. Or do I get the nistune done with base tune to the mods I already have then upgrade tune on dyno with a tuner. I was thinking about using Just Engine Management in ingleburn to do the final tune.

I haven't delt with nistune before, how long do they usually take to install and get my ecu back to me. And finally once I have it installed how hard is it to sell my current ECU. Or does anyone have a nistuned ECU for an auto s2 c34 that they want to sell?????

Yeah it enables the gears to be changed via the steering wheel controls when the shifter is pushed to the left.

Hi everyone the problem I'm having is I live in Sydney's eastern suburbs and have tried calling approx 10 different panel beaters and none of them will touch the rust repairers I need on both front doors. The drivers side has just broken through to a hole and I think the passengers isn't too far off. Just wanted to get peoples recommendations if you have any for a repairer that is relatively local.

I have a s2 but the problem with mine is when you put the right indicator on the headlights flick off then on again for a milli second, but only once every 10-15 min so I can't replicate it all the time????
