i dont think mine was fake... honestly i jus think that the product is not really effective on scratches beyond the lightest scratch... i'm getting my car detailed by dr detail this week though so i didn't put too much effort in tryna get em out... i figure if he can't then i'll just touch up paint it

Keep seeing the same Black V35 in Sydney every friday/saturday night,
usually on george st,
black wheels with chrome lip,
possibly me although haven't been down george in a few weeks i think

gave it a go... honestly i think MAYBE it helped a little bit for the big scratches but i suppose it was never gonna do much on them... the little scratch it did jack all... probably wouldn't recommend

used the quixx scratch repair....it didnt even take the lightest scratch off, completely useless
damnit mine just arrived today... ahh well i'll see how it goes

question. Cop sitting behind u and u take off quikly and say hit 80 in a 60 zone in the space of 100m, how can the cop judge your speed?. I know they can get u for reckless driving if your wheels leave the ground but im just wondering what they charge u with for taking off to fast.
excessive acceleration is also a crime.. you could go up to 80 which is the limit - but do it too fast and boom .. bend over and take it

If you are being a dick on the roads, just because a beat up 1 tonne falcon ute is the only car around doesnt mean its a cop.
Ive seen many a car pulled over by and un-marked "work ute" complete with wheel barrow and toolboxes in the tray.
those were probably the forensic guys ... they all drive utes i believe, n need 'work ute' type stuff like wheel barrows etc

I'm not sure but I believe that a lot of the 'non-typical' cop cars like the wrx are actually undercover cops - different to the unmarked patrol cars. And that usually they won't pull you over for anything unless it's serious like 30+km over the limit which you must have been doing. I know that they even drive golf gti's. UC's can be in anything

you were moving in neutral then popped it into drive? ugh...
and yeh had a similar problem where those lights were on and it was the alternator... although power steering was still good..
did lose power steering like that once though on another car and it was cause the belt popped off..
my guess is you lost the belts for the alternator and power steering...

seeing as how I can't seem to find a bumper I want to replace mine I've decided to get the scrapes repaired. Have no idea how i got these either, but yeh ,can anyone recommend someone/somewhere suitable to replace the damage below:

Yea with the burnt tips, the true dual system as they call it. I wouldnt worry about any negative attention, as i said its dead quiet and that includes idle etc.
Really? that is a bit dissapointing lolz.... so at idle it doesnt even sound better than stock, but def no drone wen cruising? mite have to reconsider possibly getting this one too then

hmmmm Kinda thinking the Shockwave TDX2, but they don't have any instock until November. Want to put a good use with the high US$ Currently have the ApexI WS2 on my V35 So i might get the XYZ pipe and berk HFC instead.

Finally got my exhaust fitted yesterday, was only an hour worth of labour so $75 (not mates rates).
Bit disappointed though, when you give it the beans it sounds insane but cruising it is dead silent. Maybe to do with our short gears? 1st - 3rd is vocal, anything above is nudda! Also defintely no drone what so ever, this would be the perfect alternative to the kakimoto regu system mentioned earlier.
Hmmm wonder what my fuel consumption would be cruising round in 3rd all day long

best thing to do is buy some USD's get it changed now. it cost just under $2k delieverd from riverside infinity, but that also included the stillen intake and the stock RHS battery cover and also the drivers key hole delete.
they chucked it all in the 1 box so i didnt have to pay multiple shipping!
best exhaust ive heard on a V35 still to this day.
yeh heaps keen on this zorst... perfect blend of everything - power, loudness, quietness, looks... Guess that's why there's such a long wait on em..
im keen for the Kuruma Z bumper...let me know if you get a hold of it

Just a quick FYI - the $AU today is sitting at $US0.97. It is expected to drop in the near future though so if any of you are looking at sourcing stuff from the US, today's probably the best day to buy. I think it drops to around $US0.95 tomorrow, not a huge difference really but worth knowing.

I got mine from Hi-Tech Mufflers (Sydney)... Cat-Back stainless steel.
I can't remember exactly how much it was but was around the $2k range.
Left it in the morning. Went to the gym for a couple of hours and it was finished.
I felt power gains as soon as I took off from the garage. But I didnt get a dyno done.
Sounds good when in full flight but just had a nice hum when just cruising.
I guess just depends on how much noise you want to make.
is it much louder than stock at idle and cruising? I hear hitech supposedly has the best gains power wise, but is not much louder than stock...
always loved the HKS but i hear they drone so that put me off... atm looking to import motordyne from the states, seems as good as HKS but without the drone

For the Kuruma z Bumper .This Vendor on g35 driver is bringing it out in poly, however he will only ship if there is a minimum purchase of 5 bumpers.
is it klumzee whos bringing them out?
