  2. So last night my mrs was yelln at me "hurry up we gotta go" so I quickly chucked the jump pack on the battery and turned the key to realise I put the bastard leads on pos to neg and vice versa.

It blew main and ignition fuses. Replaced them.

Now I try start. Only get power to clock, headlights and the ecu ( I think, red LEDs illuminated )

Any ideas to what is wrong or can be checked out?

  3. DW, Five-O, ANSU, all they do is get a JECS injector and grind off the 4x hole tip which helps with the spray pattern. They then carefully enlarge the remaining single hole to increase overall flow.

I've had a look at both side feeds, and I actually own a set of Five-O and how they're produced are identical... If you look carefully you can see grind marks.... it's sad.

    Soo much miss information here.

DW are not jecs not even remotley close. They are bosch.

They do not have re-drilled single holes and do provide a accurate spray pattern.

However this may be true with other brands mentioned.

My Dw have been perfect so far.

    I had no difficulty installing.

Tuner had no probs what so ever, neither has running idle through to Wot.

Made a hinged lid with a locating pin..

Dunno why i did, just made it harder to make, guess its more practical though.

Also made a fibreglass shell inside the box to utilize the hole through the guard. May make a funnel down to the front bumper but again prob not really nesessary. But f**k i hate being a couch potato n this cost me f**kall.

If you make a tight fitting shell like this. Wrap the bay tightly and pack spaces with tin foil. Works really well!

Just FG one layer in the car so you can bend it out once dry.

Cut it in half and strengthen it out of the car so you can remove and install it easy.

If you pack on the FG in one go, in 1 peice, in the bay, it aint coming out!

  5. So i got to repair a mates after market wastegate.

The pressure fitting to the top chamber snapped off during shipping, or via his general clumbsiness. That ill never know..

Its a screw in fitting thats sheered off and is now recessed.

Obviously im going to remove it.

Either pick it out or drill it out? Any ideas welcome.

I was also wondering, will 2 part epoxy glue lite araldite do to fasten a new one? Or drill and rethread absotutely nessissary?

  6. Need some opinions on my idea of bringing a bit of NZ to sydney (home sick every now n then ha)
