  1. The rear strut brace attaches to the strut towers via 2x feeble stamped steel brackets. The amount of flex in the rear strut brace mounting brackets would exceed the amount of flex the rear strut towers ever see during use, making it only marginally effective. I would check subframe mounting hardware/bushes are all tight/in good condition. Also check strut top mounts, HICAS tie rod ends and mounting points etc.

Not sure what kind of wheels you have decided on running (LMGT's would seem the logical choice for authenticity), but I have a set of Impul NS-01R's (as seen on the front car in the above photo) that I may be selling soon, if you were interested. Very cool build regardless, following with interest.

  3. Generally, unless you're radically changing oil viscosity or the old oil is very old/dirty, you're usually fine to just get the oil up to temp, drop it (don't burn yourself) and throw a new filter on with some fresh oil of your choosing.

  4. First post mate, but I'm from the area and will keep an eye out for you. An often asked question, but did it have an alarm/immobilizer? I'd be interested in comparing the amount of thefts of these vehicles which don't have an alarm to those which do. It's dizzying the rate at which these cars are stolen.

    Best of luck.
