Are you talking about the one circled?
Btw do you have a build thread or something? Because your skyline looks mad! Is it a GTR?
-
Yes
Should be a plug in it. Just near the filter. Bit to the rear of it
Do you have a photo because I can't seem to find it?
-
Btw does anyone know where the oil valley strait on the block is? Apparently I can plug the sensor into that and still get an accurate reading for oil pressure.
-
climate control->fuse it->do whatever
some people use lighter light, but i don't do it that way
Got a picture? Since I'm not too good with finding the wire :S Has always been my weak point
-
yep it will fit
Alright. Thanks for the confirmation Now going to try and install the sensor that came with the gauge because according to the instructions sandwich plate is not necessary :S
-
I hope this is the correct place to post this. If not could someone please kindly re-direct me?
Anyway I wanted to know wheres the easiest place to get power when the ignition is turned to ACC in a r3r s2. I'm new to this and have only red up that I will need to splice into some wires and use a multimetre apparently, but thats about it.
-
wait for someone to confirm. i can't recall exactly, but i think you need 3/4UNF-16 to the block. Which it seems is the one you linked.
Alright. Well I guess its time to play the waiting game.
-
Could you link me to one please? Found this on eBay but don't know if it will fit :S
-
yes, you need a sandwich plate.
Because all I have is the oil sensor. Some guy told me that you can do get pressure from somewhere else, but not to sure where :S
-
Do we need a sandwich plate to install an oil pressure gauge? This is the guide I'm using:

Sounds like dry solder joints in the afm then, do a search for the "how to" afm repair thread... Can you operate a soldering iron?
Yep I can. Bad news though, problem is still there
-
do you know how much boost you are running or if you have a guage what it hits just befor the cut
Unfortunately not. Just replaced my air filter though and the problem seems to have disappeared. Might be getting a gauge in the near future though so its easier to diagnose problems.

that looks like rust to me. i had the same on my passenger door. cost me about $300 to repair properly, respray, colour match, and blend.
in my case, there was a piece of sound deadening mat thingy stuck to the inside of the door right behind the spot. it was collecting water and sitting there causing the rust bubble.
I wouldnt be surprised if you find the same with yours, coz realistically, there's no other reason for a spot in the middle of a sheet to begin rusting.
a replacement door might be cheaper to buy, but then there's little chance the colour will match perfectly.
Ye pretty sure it is. Bought it like that. Previous owner said when he imported it came with the car. Hopefully doesn't fall off anytime soon because so costly to fix.
-
The 'air flow meter' it is the black plastic tubing before your k&n filter. With the wiring coming out.
Easy to remove. Recommend searching for the diy on cleaning and soldering afm
I can't seem to find the afm. Do you have a picture that could help me out?
-
You would be looking at 280 inclusive of all materials.
Wow really? Would I be better off just finding another door of the same colour?
-
So after cleaning my car today I've noticed this part on the driver side of my door is cracking off. This can be seen in the photo below.
How much would I be looking at to get it fixed PROPERLY and painted?
-
Try cleaning the AFM first, if that doesn't fix anything, try the re-soldering trick on the afm (there is a how to here) or borrow another one to try.
How old are the plugs?
Sorry I'm really new to skylines so what is an AFM?
-
Just found out the lights on my climate control dash don't work. Does anyone know where I can get some replacement bulbs or even LEDs that will be a direct fit?
-
If the car is stock, the AFM could need re-soldering. If it is modified you will need to let us know the mods, and what, if anything was changed recently.
The only mods it has is a K&N air filter and a full 3" exhaust system (Don't know what brand) and that's about it really.
-
Airflow cut.
Or your girlfriend getting excited, sometimes they can't wait to get home... Those were the days...
This might be a stupid question but is it a major problem and how much am I looking to get it fixed?
LOL. My girlfriend doesn't drive a manual.
-
I've noticed recently that on 3rd and 4th gear when I push it to just past 3k rpm the car violently jerks. It almost feels like the engine just cuts out and then comes back into play.
What could be the problem here?
-
Probably won't get an answer but I have a 1997 r33 s2 and I don't have a sway bar either :S
-
I've been looking everywhere and I just can't find what size they are. Wanting to replace with LEDs
-
I'm not to sure whether mine are broken or its normally like this, but at night when I turn on the lights are the air con buttons supposed to light up as well? Or not?
