Well said 700HP-GTR33... In the real world, all dynos would give the same reading... but at the end of the day we all know a dyno is a tool to tune cars... Like I said.. I did not want my tuner to tune my car to be a dyno-queen....
I drove the car home from work this arvo, got to a set of lights, saw that no cars were around, so I decided to put my foot down and launch it. OMFG I think I felt a turtle come otu of my butt. All 4 wheels skidded in first, then the car went a little sideways in 2nd before the altessa kicked in and straightened the car... I didnt really feel any lag from the turbos just instand power at all 4 wheels. This was all at the boost setting os 14.9psi... Tomorrow I'll try it set at 20psi.
If all goes well, my brake pads arrive by Friday. I can then fit the new pads n rotors to the car on Saturday, ready for Willowbank Saturday arvo so I can post my 1/4mile time.
PS. I don't know if you know Godzilla Motorsports (QLD) signature R32 GTR Drag Car? The same tuner that tuned that car, tuned mine. I'm sure he knows what he is doing

Ahh i see but still at 3000rpm; not too bad at all.
I am changing my turbos soon and think ill be going gt-ss as i wont be changing camshafts like you. I really like the stock turbo response but im a bit paranoid about the stockers going pop on me.
Plus labour will be cheaper as ill add some tomei dump pipes at the same time.
Please keep us updated when you have the chance to take it out on a nice open road; would love to read your 'impression'

I know nothing about cars (I'm a IT guy), but for a cheap mod I would strongly recommend adding CamGears & Camshaft to your list. they are a cheap mod and you get great response & power. I had them in my car alongside the stock turbos and the response was amazing. With only the cam gear/shaft, exhaust, filter I was getting 215awKW.
If you do upgrade cam gear/shaft go and buy the Garret GT2860R-5 turbos as they are much cheaper then the HKS GT-SS turbos. Get them all fitted at once because its going to save you on labor costs. Camgears/shaft + Garret GT2860R-5 turbos + tomie dump pipes will still allow you to drive the car with a stock ECU.

How does it feel on the street; much more laggy?
I haven't had a chance to drive it much..Just picked it up at 9:30 this morning, then drive it to work.. I did notice that boost kicks in just after 3000rpm so its virtually like stock turbos! Im still babying it in case something goes wrong

Only 290rwkw from -5's ???
They should be up around 350rwkw @ 20psi.
Unless the turbos aren't -5's perhaps... Either way for the turbos you 'should' have, the power doesnt sit right at all
I know with those turbos I should be getting lots more power. I told the tuner to just tune it to mid-range power and not dyno-queen power. Plus with stock internals, I don't want to push much more power since I don't want anything to blow.
I'm sure down the track I'll be bored with 292KillerWasps and I'll tell the tuner to turn it into a dyno-queen...

Picked up my car from the Tuner this morning.
Car was tuned for mid-range power. At 14.9psi it was 261.4awkw & at 20psi it was 292.1awkw...
I'm very happy with my results and I'm sure I can get a few more horses out of it with a little more fine tuning.

The wheels nuts/locknuts are not the lightweight ones I thought they were, they are just a basic set of black nuts, they are lighter than normal, but nothing like the lightweight RAYS nuts which are rediculously light....no pics, they look like wheelnuts, and I have reduced the price to $20 for the set.

Thats harsh i know this bloke and brought parts off him before havent had a problem i would suggest you dont go bashing peoples names without the mods etc knowing there are channels to go through to sort out bad traders, but as you said you got what you wanted so why the rant.
The reason I bough the injectors off him in the first place, instead of buying them off greenline was he promised he would send them to me faster then greenline would. Had I know that it would take him over 2mths to send I wouldn't have bought it off him.
I got the mods involved after numerous PMs back n forward with him and no luck. Mods are aware of what happened are on my side in this situation. It seemed that it took a number of threts before he actually sent the item. In the end, not even a Sorry...
Would u be happy if it happened to u dmac_25? I'm simply warning others just incase it happens to them.
Like is said in the other post, If you want a more detailed account of what happened, I'm more then happy to tell anyone that wants to know. I also have all the PMs I sent n got from him that I'm happy to share.

WARNING ABOUT THIS SELLER!
Money was deposited into his account in early June. 3 weeks after I still did not receive the injectors so I contact him. He ranted on about how he sent it etc and that he thinks AUS post lost it, but he could not give me any proof like date sent, or a recept of where it was sent from.
After numerous PMs back and forward (as he would never pickup his phone), I had to get one of the Admins on this forum involved & I also threatened to him that I would go to Small Claims Court about this matter.
After over 2months, I finally got my Injectors. I checked that date on the box and it was dated 2 days before the day I received it.
How he conducted himself on the FS section is very unprofessional. I will never buy anything from this person again. If anyone wants a more detailed account of what happened, feel free to PM me.

I have seen a few on ebay that are SARD FPR with guage and they are copies.

The front lip is actually made of fibreglass not plastic but that being said I must admit its a very good mold as fitment is great and its not cheap thin glass. Its actually quiet thick and doesn't warp or flex a great dealThanks
