Guys Can anyone advise the Nissan part numbers for ... N1 Oil Pump and N1 Water Pump for an R33 GTR Also - are the R32 units the same ?

From time to time it just shuts off and starts heating for a few minuets- and then seems to sort it self out and start to work again ??? it seems to last longer if I set the temp to 18 If I do the self diag test, I get the mysterious PBR error ? I've had it re-gased and presure tested - OK !! Anyone know someone in Brisbane that can FIX this for me b4 summer starts

Guys can I put an R33 GTR motor in an R32 GTR What will I need to change I've herd the crank is different in some way (for example)

I'm looking for a complete RB26 motor (for swap into R32 GTR) don't need turbos, clutch or trans - do want full head with coil packs and injectors I'll probably do a full rebuild - but I will also consider a healthy engine if it's in good condition with strong/newish internals. Brisbane based would be best - but I can also pay shipping for the right engine

Z32 wow - this is your lucky day I just had exactly the same problem with my R32 GTR (only a few days ago) - eventually the speedo stoped working altogether. It turned out to be the small plastic 'pin' that connects the speedo cable to the speedo itself. When I removed my speedo the existing pin fell to the floor of the car in a number of separate peaces (perished with age I think) I got a new speedo cable from Nissan (~$80 AUD) and removed the little white plastic pin from the new one. Be careful - its fragile and also has a small spring that will fall out and hide itself. I put the new pin into the end of my existing speedo cable behind the speedo (grease too) - and viola - works again. I had to take the dash and instrument cluster out to do this - but that was reasonably easy (8-10 screws I think). I assume we have 'speed' sensitive power steering - so when the speedo stops working - so does the power steer (I think)

sorry dude - don't know yet Until I get my guys to have a look at it ( during the leak down test) I've herd that the cams a quite wild (for street use) How can I tell - will they be 'obviously' marked in some way ?

Guys I'm looking a getting a 2nd hand RB26DETT for my R32 GTR (current motor broken) The engine I'm looking at is equipped with a pair of HKS CAMS (don't know what size) , adjustable cams gears and also has 700cc injectors with a few other go fast bits. I have a pair of N1 (not group A) turbos to fit up. I'm getting a leak down test done - but a compression test (cold) delivers 170 across all six pots. My question is - how will these cams effect the drivablity of the car. It's a street driven GTR (daily driver) and I'm targeting a modest power output (250/270 rwkw). I have herd that these cams MAY introduce lag - is this true. The reason I have N1's is because I don't want too much lag down low in the rev range - and I'm not chasing too much top end power anyway. (not too much experience with cams - obviously) Also - I'll like to start with the std ECU and swap over to a PFC at a latter date - I thinking this may not be an option with this engine. I'm assuming the std ECU will not deal with these types of mods - yes ? talk to me guys (and Galls of course)
