I had to get a permit to be able to pass pits with them in. To do that I have to get a engineers cert, to pass the engineers cert i have to prove that I have 1/3 of the original suspension travel with the coilovers (not going to happen). I managed to pick up some damper adjustable shocks and lowered springs for $200 off gumtree so I decided that was easier

It came out of a auto S1. What year is your S2? on the sticker on the shock it has stagea 96-01 which I am guessing is the years it will fit. No leaking, no knocking. It came in the car when i brought it so im not 100% sure on the kms. I would say they have less than 3000kms on them. The car had the cambelt done in 2011 at 91000kms and its sitting on 94000kms when i got it 2 months ago. I would say they are less than a year old. I will see if i can find out what the spring rates are. I only drove it twice with the coilovers in it before i got damper adjustable shocks and lowered springs to put in. I will try and get the weight of them and find out shipping charges

My stagea came with some BC coilovers in it. Look fairly new, I took them out to pass pits and cant be bothered putting them back in as i don't want to have to go over pits again if I get pulled over. Pm or call/txt on 0431521865. If I am at work I cannot answer my phone so will respond on breaks

How have you got a permit for your adjustable suspension? i got a letter of approval in principal but its saying I need to have 1/3 of the original suspension travel and a engineers report. There is no way the BC coilovers are going to have 1/3 of the original travel. I've started the hunt for standard suspension to get over the pits

Series 1 Stagea, Need legal suspension to pass pits. Car currently has BC coilovers. Will consider swapping them for shocks and lowered springs in good condition. BC coil overs are in very good condition. Came with car when purchased

Hi guys, I am trying to get my C34 series 1 Stagea registered. It has BC coilovers in it. I applied for a permit but they are telling me I need to have 1/3 of the original travel and a engineers report to make it road legal. Does anyone have any standard or pass able suspension I can use to get it passed. All it failed on in the initial inspection was no immobiliser and the suspension. Voncina/Steve is installing the immobiliser tomorrow so the suspension is the only thing holding me back. The coil overs look very new. Im happy to consider a trade if someone is interested in the coilovers

Just got my first S1 Dayz edition sent over from Brisbane after buying it off gumtree. It failed pits on not having a immobiliser and the suspension was under 100mm so its not road legal yet. It has BC coilovers so I spent spent a few hours winding them up yesterday to be legal. Then I washed all the horrible red dust off it from the truck ride and It came out looking pretty good. Is pretty much stock minus the mags and BC coilovers. It also has a "Nissan super exhaust" with nismo mufflers. Not sure if this was a factory option? The funniest extra it has is a luggage fan in the boot...
