  1. If anyone wants one for $35 delivered (which is what simark is selling them for) let me know. I'm going to be selling mine, it doesn't do anything for me because my wastegate is either ported or the actuator has been uprated I can't get anything less than 17psi in second gear - more in third
  2. Fitted mine in about 10 minutes too. however on my car, boost doesn't seem to come in any earlier - previous owner hiflowed the turbo so I suppose it's still too large to have low-end power. I mean, I'm still increasing boost by redline in 3rd gear! But it's good, at least I can control the max boost seems to spike a fair bit still though.
  3. yeah I know there was one, no response 11psi = approx 0.8 bar
  4. Just got email back from Mark, price is $35 including postage he says.
  5. I'll be ordering one of these things. If anyone knows me from other forums, I don't have a Skyline, but I will be needing one of these to limit boost. I have an ST205 GT-Four with a twin-actuator design, and with the second actuator enabled the boost peaks at 1.55 bar (about 22-23psi) in third gear, and with the second actuator disabled it still gets 1.15 bar in third gear. if anyone knows the GT-Four the CT20b is a steel-wheel turbine, quite a large turbo for a street car, so it's very laggy (ie. fullboost at 4000rpm, a very large kick!): I've just emailed Mark and hopefully I will get one of these at the discounted rate, even though I don't drive a Skyline it pays to be a forum whore sometimes... edit: I was reading through this thread thinking it was pretty short - got to about the 9th page, then went to the last page. 25 pages! so I fast-forwarded and just sent Mark the damn email. Have I missed anything important??
  6. Decided to keep this thing for myself... got the recirculating kit for it, and also ordering a new flange soon!
  7. Hey all. Just wondering whether anyone has an R33 intake pipe of sorts available. The pipe can be mangled to hell... all I need is the BOV flange/neck and that's it
  8. bump - could actually be an R33 flange, not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm?
  9. Item: HKS SSQV BOV, with R33 flange Location: Melbourne Item Condition: Used, works perfectly Reason for Selling: Was going to put it in my car but never got round to it Price and Payment Conditions: $250 firm. Contact Details: Mobile" 0422838188; email: tangcla-at-tangcla.com
  10. OK, here's your big chance to get in on HID kits! Price dropped to $590 for all but H4 high/low; $700 for H4 high/low.
  11. I haven't got a pic of my engine bay; the ballast is bolted to the strut tower on my car. The wiring plugs straight into your existing headlight globe socket, and then out. Very very simple.
  12. What do you mean by rear of the headlight? Here are the pics I have: and the kit is waterproof
  13. yeah. You've seen my car, it's a big enough attention seeker, so methinks I might get everything engineered in one go as well
  14. Hey Lucien, fanncy meeting you here These kits aren't retrofitted projector kits, these are replacement bulbs, with the same bases/connectors as your existing globes, with a ballast. The headlight assembly doesn't change at all. I spoke to an engineer in Melbourne in the past, he said that you don't really need the spray washers in Australia, because they were designed for countries that have severe weather conditions ie. snow (USA and Europe). Also, if your headlights have angle/tilt adjustments, you wouldn't need self-levelling kits, according to him. My kit is 7500K; they are DAMN BRIGHT compared to any halogen globe available. It's something like 1100 lumens for a halogen globe compared to 3200 lumens of the HID. And it runs cooler and requires less power compared to its halogen counterparts...
  15. I have a source who can get me some HID headlight kits from Korea, direct from the manufacturer. They are branded Xelux. The kit components are made by Hella in Germany, but assembled in Korea. Not made in China! The ballast has a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. The supplier assures me that he doubts you wouldever need to claim because he has supplied many kits to Hong Kong, Thailand, SIngapore, Malaysia and Indonesia already, and till today, touch wood... nothing come back...) BULBS: 7000K and 8000K are available. TYPES: All types - H1, H3, HB3, H4, HB4, H7, D2R, D2S... PRICE: All sizes EXCEPT H4: $590 including tax and shipping (7000K globes) H4 high/lowbeam, Xelux brand (Korean, with German ballast): $700 including tax and shipping (7000K) H4 high/lowbeam, HELLA brand (USA, with German componentry): $820 including tax and shipping (7000K)
