  1. Im not exactly sure what size my cat-back exhaust is... the previous owner told me the spec of it but i forgot... what i do remember is that its bigger than 3 inches... its either 3.25" or 3.5"...

Now the question is, will have to find a cat with the same size ends? Or will standarad 3" hiflow cat do the job? I just dont wanna end up buying a cat that doesnt fit, or even worse, going to a muffler joint to get them to measure it and find out after paying them $$$ that it would have fitted!

The intuitive response would be that the same size cat would be required but im asking bcoz currently with the cat back exhaust, the bigger exhaust pipe is attached to the smaller stock cat... If you get what i mean...

Also, is it possible to put your car up on a jack and replace the cat yourself with some backyard tools? Is it a complicated process?

    Anyway, any help much appreciated!

  2. I completely agree with eXc.

Not everyone whos had it rough turns to car theft. And even if the cause is poverty or some other general social disadvantage, why car theft? As far as i know, these kids are not members of some sophisticated car rebirthing circle. They stole these cars for a joyride, not to put food on the table. Others who are in the same or even worser situations manage to stop themselves from stealing cars. How is this possible? Is it in the genes or something? Are they genetically superior to these retards who couldnt help but jimmy their way into somebody else's car and accidentally hot wire it?

Thats the way i see it. If 2 people are brought up in the same environment and one turns to crime while the other doesnt, the only possible explanation is their genes. One is a genetic defect, the other is not. Its like people being born with particular qualities... one person may have a voice that makes them an excellent singer, another may have a shithouse voice but have the brains to be successful academically. Their genes determine this, and by the same reasoning, if a person is more prone to crime than another, its in their genes whether it be a weakness of conscience or moral reasoning. Simple as that.

Oh my... now i've opened up a big can or worms...

    Let the flaming begin...

  3. You guys serious about Mac Centre?

I go there all the time and park in the front area close to the entrances for the ice rink etc. I live about 5 minutes drive from Mac centre so i park there all the time and i've had no trouble so far. I cant park in the newer section where the cinema/loft entrances are coz of low front bar hitting shit at the ramps... so i have no other choice but to park at the front section.

I've once parked it on the top loft area for a movie and came out around 12am and there was nothing wrong with my car... perhaps i was lucky.

Could the ppl who are warning against Mac Centre post more details? im getting paranoid now...

    Cheers

  4. Hahha dude my brother plays that game all day LOL

I think the puffy things you kill are pretty cute. I cant really say much else about the game but i dont mind the background music either... pretty good to chill out to.

  5. This has got me real worried! I hope someone can help me with this problem!

    I have:

    Automatic s2 r33

    pod w/o cai

    3.5" cat back exhaust

    9psi

Driving on the way home today i noticed that my idle was doing something funny. Normally it would sit at the 600 or 700 rpm mark and not jump around but today it would rhythmically jump from 550 to 700 rpm and the engine would sound different... sortof like when you put some burden on the electricals (windows or moving the steering wheel). And when i push the accel down from the lights, at the start for a split second it feels like the engine is choking and about to stall but the revs pick up and off i go.

So i got home and in the driveway i wanted to test out if i could actually make it stall since it sounds like it was going to...

The revs are bouncing around again, and when i apply the slightest bit of pressure on the accel and keep it there, the revs drop to zero and the engine stalls. But if i apply the slightest bit more pressure, the rev pick up and its all fine and dandy. Its actually rather difficult to make the engine stall since i have to maintain the exact amount of pressure but it still bothers me that the engine sounds like its about to choke and stall. A couple of times i actually had the engine falling to about 50 (fifty) rpm and be able to pick up the revs again without the engine stalling.

Can someone please tell me what the problem is? I've noticed it doing something similar before but never as serious as it was just now. I have a suspicion it *might* be something sitting in my fuel tank because it tends to happen when im running fairly low on fuel. But i filled up on the way home and it still did it in the driveway! ArGH! Maybe i should wait for the fuel to settle? I dunno???

Anyway... somebody please shed some light into what the problem may be :ghost:

  6. When i was driving around without my front bar for a while, both indicators were going skitz working double-time. But when i put a new front bar on and hooked up the attached front indicators, the blinkers returned to normal.

When a bulb went out on my right front, the right indicator went nuts again too. But when i changed the bulb it was fine again...

    I think its a bulb. :P
