  1. Managed to clear my defect today (wheels too wide [cops around here aren't so great]) by painting and fitting these R33 stockies. They look stupid but at least it's cleared.

Also installed new bonnet struts so I can FINALLY work under the bonnet without the risk of skull damage haha.

  2. Last few days, saw a Red S2 C34 at Southbound F3/M1 McDonalds, White M35 Pacific Hywy Turramurra on saturday night and a Black S2 C34 heading south on the F3/M1 Saturday about 4:30pm (gave a thumbs up, got two thumbs up back! haha) If you're on here, I couldn't go over 80km/h due to running on a space saver rear left :/

  3. Hey guys, I'm pretty set on getting a boost controller (might even go out and get one today actually- it's my Birthday after all  )

As I would still consider myself a pretty massive noob with turbo engines I just wanted a bit of clarification on the vacuum lines I'm connecting up.

I drive an S2 Stagea with an RB25 Neo engine, as I understand it, the solenoid valve hooks up to the vacuum lines in "A.". Is this correct?

I'm also running a Blitz blow-off valve ("B."). Will this effect my final result/change the install process, or is this all sweet?

If I'm feeling confident I'll document the process and do up a picture-based how-to for it, but we'll see

  4. Yeah 90dB is the legal limit.

As #@Daleo said, if you do get pulled up on sound they will test you but if you're caught with the Varex it's instantly game over :/

If you go to an exhaust customs place they are usually happy to do a dB range check for your car.

I had one done with the cannon and got 93dB @ 3000rpm and 98dB on back off, so yeah not "legal". They fabricated a pea-shooter exhaust for me which is a simple bolt on at the flange whenever I please. This system is ~80dB keeping me well under the limit, so if I am ever unlucky enough to be summoned to a dB Range check by police I have that ready and waiting to put on :)

Sure it looks ridiculous, but whatever keeps me out of trouble hey!

  5. Today my 1999 S2 Stagea (RS4S) hit 100,000 kms, and it was kind of upsetting. It made me feel like the car had graduated to the next age of car life.

But then I realised, this is a ~15 year old car, it must be going pretty well to only be hitting 100,000 now. Right?

So tell me, how many Kms has your Stagea done?

    100k club?

    200k club??

or a special garage dwelling <50k?
