Acutually i bought it from http://www.honsma.com/, i go thte sandwichplate from justjap.
I email the seller awaiting a reply....
Might just put it in the bin and get another brand with sufficient wiring diagram.

Autometer site doesnt have any useful information any one have any idea how to wire up the sender? I cant figure out any other logical way? :S
-
Thanks Duncan,
I got a AutoGauge not Autometer, apparently autoguage is the cheap subsidiary company off shoot from autometer. I assume a autometer wiring diagram will be sufficient. ill have a look at the site cheers.

This is rather urgent as i need to determine if i have a faulty sender or oil pump. fingers crossed its just the sender.
Thanks

Hey guys, i have bene experiencing irratic and low oil pressure readings.
I got my self a AutoGauge smoke series electronic oil pressure gauge with sender from honsma and a sandwich plate from just jap.
Now i cant get the gauge to read, i suspect the gauge is faulty or my wiring is wrong.
The instructions with the gauge are crap and do not indicated what wires go where.
Basically i have a orange, red and black wire which are conneteced up to supply light to the gauge.
this leaves me with a Black , Red and Green wire which are for the sender.
On the two terminals on the sender one has the letter 'G' adn the other "WK:Ground'
I connected the black wire to WK:ground and the green wire the the terminal with 'g' and the red wire to a powersource.
Now the gauge does not read at all stays dead on 0psi , my stock gauge still reads.
Does any one have any ideas or a wiring diagram at all? i cant find any info about them
Cheers.

Hey Frog man, thanks for the info!
With buffing does that have to be done with and electric orbital buffer?
Should i not even attmept to buff by hand?
And also what cut/polish should i be using?
thanks again.
Frost this might not help much but do a ebay search for 'metal flake'
thats how i found my holographic flakes to put in the clear coat.
Cheers

Hi i just bought a HLVP gravity gun wiht a 1.4 and 2.0 ml nozzle.
I was planning ot paint acrylic. So with the HVLP i will need to turn the pressure donw on the compressor? is that right?
I plan to paint a bonnet , plan is , primer, gloss black, holographic metal flake in the first coat of clear, then clear coat on its own to finish it off.
Cheers.

Id prob wait, in my back yard stuff ups i polished a bonnet 3 hours after the clear was on and i got permanent swirls in it wrecking the finish.
Im no expert tho
-
I think u cant spray 2pac unless ur on a approved premises, the stuff is toxic.
I thin ku can do acrylic at home as long as ur neighbours dont complain lol.
I am in the process of doing my bonnet at home in acrylic.
fist i used cans and did a suprisingly good back yard job lol
2nd time i used a super cheap spray gun with the cansiter below it turned out crap.
I just bought a gravity fed spray gun and im going to try and paint it gloss black with clear coat, in my clear coat i will put metal flakes.
So we will see how bad i can stuff this up lol

Must ad di have no need for bonnet pins with this bonnet, absolutley no flapping even at high speed.
-
Where did you get the bonnet and how much? If you don't mind my asking
I got a ADR approved one from www.blitsbodykits.com.au .
They are awsome and will deliver. The bonnet is not as light as my C/F one but is a little lighter that stock steel bonnet.
They are the only peopl eto hold a ADR for a fibreglass r33 bonnet.
The ADR is very strict with design requirments which is why this bonnet is not as light as my C/F one.
It is certainly the most sturdy non steel aftermarket bonnet i have seen.
Fitment is perfect.
Price is outstanding and you also have peice of mind next time a police man tries to pin u for having a fibreglass bonnet
Blits are great to deal with, family run business.

Interested in making another one to sell?

Spray with the hose, dont go wild with the pressure it will be fine.

hehe thanks but i just paid $80 for the iridiums so im not going to go now & get some $3 plugs...old plugs were same gap (1.1mm) so why now is misfire worse?
Hard to say why it didnt before and does it now. a 1.1 gap is big for most skylines. i gues the age of the coilpacks makes it not fire as strong as they should so 1.1 gpa can have issues.
If u dont wanna buy $3 coppe rplugs just re-gap ur new plugs to 0.8 . u should not have to go less than that.
It will fix ur miss.

CArdboard lol i just noticed, great idea tho. Metal versions might be nicer.

www.Blitsbodykits.com.au they are on the gold coast at ernest. I bought my ADR approved fibreglass bonnet. they do heaps of custom fibreglass and are excellent to deal with. Husband and wife business, excellent service. mainly sell exterior parts but also can do custom fibreglass interior.

Well looks like i dont need the pins guys, but thanks for all the help.
The bonnet i got doesnt fit any ways :S so i aint going to bother ive chucked this into the too hard basket and im going ot live with a stock bonnet.
-
Thanks ben,
Well with the hassles ive had with police id have to go the ADR ones.
ill hunt around the shops now i know i can get adr approved ones
-
Tripych
Yeah thats what i remember too. With that information i dont believe it is possible to have a bonnet pin that sits flush????
Any one know of any?
-
Im in the proccess of doing what MarkiMarki has just said.
I have the hybrid style of pipeing and about to install a Greddy knock off intake when it turns up.

Hi guys,
I tried seraching cant find any thing.
I had a CF vented bonnet but too many fines from police prompted me to get an ADR approved fibre glass vented bonnet. MyCF bonnet did no require bonnet pins.
Now my Fibreglass one may require pins if it is not stable at high speed.
Does any one know if pins are illeagle or are there a certain type of bonnet pin that is accepted?
Cheers.
