  1. yeah that was me ... saw you in the distance and was "l'm sure thats an aristo!!"

First one l've seen on the road too ... damn they look good. Friend just got his & already has 19's on it, but l'm yet to see it.

yeah ive chatted to that guy online but haven't met him. i think he has the 4th one in vic and i got the 3rd.

it was actually my gf that spotted the plates as i was trying to stay on the road checking your car out. only the 3rd ive seen and yours is by far the best.

  2. spotted a stagea on sat night on nepean highway near mentone, was white with the plates staga and a cf bonnet. i was checking your car out while you were looking at my aristo.

    very sweet wagon

  3. This sticker came on my Aristo.

It was placed on the rear window in a location that could have only been put there in the factory. It has a number on it that starts with 95 which is the year my car was made.

It also has a cool hologram on it.

Can someone please tell me what it is and what it means.

  4. That aristo wouldnt happen to be the one running on the dyno at my bro's shop last saturday was it?

    nah hasnt been dynoed yet.

all up cost about 17K and thats for a 95 model that is very clean with a true 77K kms, sunroof, factory cruise controll and 12 stacker cd player.

just did about 200k's in it today and i must say it has some balls in stock form. with an exhaust and some more boost this thing is going to tear it up hardcore

  5. about 4 months ago i decided to sell my 200rwkw r32 gts-t for something a little different.

decided to import an aristo cos they are very cool and very unique.

got the car last tuesday and it got registered this morning.

warning: they are not 56k friendly.

after a few days of driving it all i can say is that it truly kicks ass, if your in the se suburbs of Melbourne you might see me cruising about. go the 2JZ!!!

  6. i know in my skyline when i drive quick the stuff in the boot shoots about all over the place. i think that plate between the boot and the rear seat is to protect you and your passengers. say you had a toolbox in your boot and you broke hard or hit something, that little piece of foam in the back seat wont stop jack and you’ll cop it in the back of the head.

    just my 2 cents

  7. This is a bit of a long shot but im loking for the speedo, tacho, fuel and temp needles from an aristo 93-96.

Anyone who has got a half cut with these bits left over or knows someone who might and is willing to make a few bucks give me a pm.

    thanks.

  8. Looks like you mate was too tight to pay the $250 to get the car mechanically inspected before payment was made. The importer in question doesn’t choose the cars for you, they give you the tools and options to choose what car you want. In the end it was your mate’s decision to choose those 2 cars.

Don’t talk crap about a reputable businesses that help a lot of people out.

  9. Cars been doing this for a while now but as aim about to sell it i thought i better sort it out for the new owner.

It used to be that my car warmed up then the temp needle sat in the middle of the gauge. Now it seems after 20-30 odd min of driving the temp needle will go almost to the red part at the top (only a few mm off) then it will quickly fall back to about 3/4 then slowly climb and repeat the cycle. Also now when I get home and turn the car off i can hear the water bubbling in the system, this bubbling is quite obvious and lasts for up to a min or two sometimes.

I’ve had the radiator fully flushed by ice performance so i don’t believe there are any blockages in it. I've also had the water pump replaced about 14K km's ago so its still prety new.

So i think it can only be either the thermostat is dieing and as such is opening much later than it should or the water temp sensor is busted.

I’m still learning cars so please point out if I’m wrong.

Any ideas which one it is and where i could get replacement parts. i.e. repco

    Thanks for any help
