  1. Thanks for the feedbacks, Its definitely food for thought, starting to sway to maybe getting one and scrape all these warranty business. Seems the better option is to fiddle with the car and have mods instead and if things do go wrong, order better parts to replace it lol.
  2. Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum, and stumbled across this forum while contemplating if getting a R35 would be the right choice of car for me. I don't have a abundant knowledge of the car other than the typical (Most bang for buck supercar) out there. Unfortunately price is always a factor when purchasing cars (At least for most people ) (especially when it is purely going to be a weekend toy). My budget would probably be around $100K to $110K. I have heard some notorious stories about the running cost of these beauties, but had recently test drove and talked to a dealer about it. Not sure if this is entirely true but from what he says, the cost have come down dramatically, mainly because of after market stuff. E.g Brake and disc replaced no longer cost $6000, more like $2500. And tyres are around $2000 for a full set. This is obviously a huge factor to take into account before the taking plunge. Something they had offered which was quite appealing to me was that they had the extended warranty packages up for purchase, which covers all the original manufactures warranty. Though the question then becomes, if you start installing all these after market parts, does it void all the warranties. Lastly, if anyone can share any insight experience in what to look for when purchasing a second hand R35. E.g Tyres, brakes, logbook, etc. Regards,
