  1. If you're staying on pump 98 and not shooting for 500+ hp then a Walbro 255 aka GSS 342 will go straight in to the factory position, but it will need to be rewired direct to the battery to get the proper voltage.

Again, if it's that noisy it could possibly be an aftermarket pump.

  2. So who has bought them and not been happy with them.. anyone?

I had them in my previous car and I've been in multiple cars with BCs and definitely notice the difference between my BCs and my shockworks coilovers which are still relatively cheap. I would probably be amazed by something like MCA reds.. One day!

I would say I was happy with them for what I paid (when I had them in my subaru) BUT this was in a severely underpowered car and in something like a skyline with 250kw + something better is needed. I think that $1200 suspension in a car with 10k into the engine bay is silly, your setup needs to match. In saying that if you only plan on stock power I think BC BRs should be 'enough' but you will definitely enjoy the extra money spent on something better.

  3. - Set of mid-range coilovers, such as MCA, Shockworks (I have these in 8/6) or get onto sydney kid for a bilstein setup.

    - Sway bars front and rear

    - Rear camber and front castor arms

    - Adjustable front camber bushes

    - Hicas lock bar

    - Replace every other bush you can afford

    Alignment, then sorted.

  4. That modified cluster is a bit crusty with the 2 holes still in the clear cover.

Unique mods for an r34 usually suck. That's why they are unique mods. Pretty much all of the good ideas have been done....

Broadfields work is hardly crusty that was just an example of many, go check out his page there might be something you like.

that being said, just check out what other peopele have and steal any good ideas you like.

imo good wheels make a car, good ride hight will start you off well. detail the hell out of the car, doing that will find all sorts of things to do like stripping things down repairing repainting, replacing.

This. Little details make a big difference, fresh coat of paint and restore black plastics ect

  5. Ok, after leaving it like this for awhile I decided to recheck it getting the car ready for a tune. I've set the motor at TDC according to the markings on the cam gears and this is the result.

Can anyone give me an answer as to what these marks are? My guess is 10 and 20 deg, it would be helpful if someone knew the diametre of the pulley.

  6. Hi guys,

I'm after some Japanese wheels in good ot brand new condition with or without tyres.

I am after the following sizes.

    8.5 +25 and 9.5 +30, or 8.5 +30 and 9.5 +38.

Located in perth and happy to pay for postage.

    Cheers.

  7. Now on the quest for new wheels, as my current wheels have about a cm of poke at the front and require about 3 deg of camber at the rears.

    Looking for F - 18x8.5 + 25 and R - 9.5 + 30, I believe these will be flush and fit 245/275 tires with minimal camber.

Any input from anyone? Offsets seem ok?
