  1. but i love little wheels.

i dunno, maybe its coz im a small guy, i find the wheel really large... and the fact that my stock wheel has peeling vinyl, i've wrapped it in a huge fat wheel cover...

cool to hear that people love the stockie, coz thats what i got :)

    any recommendations on aftermarket examples?

p.s. chef, check for a reply in about 2 seconds :)

  2. yeh coulda done with a turbz...

my mate test drove one and said its really quick tho...

said thres nothing like the feel inside the car, nor the sound at high revs... but supposedly it guzzles thru fuel

  3. hey guys,

i think i wanna get an aftermarket steering wheel.

i really like those momo squarish shaped ones...

i was at a shop the other day and was pretending to drive while it was on the wall... hahaha, kinda gay i know... but i like the feel heaps...

just wanna know what kinda wheels you guys have on yur cars? i notice everyone goes for the momo commander or millenium or something... what sorta feel they give? the best place to buy them etc...?

    cheers guys.

  4. hey guys, managed to repair my front bar myself with a mate today...

got gross looking white patches, but its very very smooth and should look good as standard once its painted...

hmmz speaking of, might give it a try myself too.. :)

  5. hey chef, think i saw you on springvale road today?

around 1030, would that be right?

i was like... shit, thre goes my car....

but was stuck at a light and tried to hoon up and follow, but gone.

btw, where is JR auto in box hill? me and a mate were looking for some rice the other day, and we couldn't find it...

  6. well considering you can buy a bodytech kit for 22 bucks at kmart, and gordo said that all the raw parts only cost him 50 bucks, i'd imagine that i would cost around those prices...

the only thing is the trouble of fixing it yurself.

as for taking it to a place to get it fixed, i got no idea, but eitherway ya gotta add the price of getting it painted as well. so i figure if its possible to save on the repair, then i'll prolly do it myself. :)

  7. thanks for the replies guys...

i might give it a shot myself...

bodytech make a fibreglass repair kit for 21.95 at kmart, that includes everything that ya listed gordo.

and jetdat, the damage is heavy cracks due to hits, mainly on the exterior of the bar... i dont mind running around with grey patches, coz the bar needed to get a clear coat over it anywayz... so it'll be up for a respray once its repaired.

    ta!

  8. anyone done it themselves?

ya know how u can buy those kits and just patch it up.

wat brands do yu guys use?

is that bodytech one from kmart okay?

    blah blah blah...

give us yur thoughts, i need to repair my front bar...
