Tried machining the discs but still squeaking like crazy, so I've been told by a guy from DBA to buy new pads and Rotors and that should fix the problem.

Hey guys, I've been hit with one of the most common problems with R33's SQUEAKY BREAKS!! It is the most annoying thing ever! If it was just a squeak maybe i could turn a blind eye but these breaks howl and scream. So, I've got new pads to go in and now Im looking for new rotors and have been given a price of $260 each. Now I know I have an import but it still seems kinda high. Does anyone know where the best place would be to get them and what rotors to get? I'd appreciate any feed back if anyone can get them for a better price. Cheers, -Dave.

yeh I noticed that once I hit 100,000k's the number one (1) never lined up properly and I have been told that, that is a sign of the odometer being tampered with. Sounds like a good idea fEkuaR lol! I'll look around for an auto elect. tomorrow. Any one know any good ones around Melbourne South East subs ? Thanks for the advice guys!

Ive had my R33 for nearly 2 years now and the odometer was working fine UNTIL it reached 109999 ... then all of a sudden it decided to stop. Any ideas? Cheers, -Dave.

I had the same problem with my R33 Series1. I took the tail light out, which as craved said, is a bit of work. I sat a small heater facing the back of the tail light for bout an hour for the black stuff to soften then very gently puuled the light off. Makesure to take ALL the screws out b4 you start lol. talking from experience. Tehn once I had the light out, I removed all the old sealent which didnt look too healthy, re-sealed it with some new stuff (dont be shy with it) placed the light back in it's place, which wasnt the easiest of jobs either, let it set for a bit and havent had a drop of water in there since. PROF DLS: from what I have been told, the factory cat's the skylines came out with in Japan were hi-flow and bigger BUT when the car is brought into aust. and complianced, they just put on a cheap-shit cat. Skyline33: I'll get a pic of it up for you by tomorrow. Im near Ringwood
