anyone know if you can get an r33 slave rebuild kit? if so where and how much? new slave is $95 so would anything over $40ish id just rather replace ta

the oil does not stick more, it is not magnetic to hazard a guess and that is all it is i would say it is normal, air moves at different patterns at different speeds and a hot spot in the engine bay is easily created. best to hear what others with GTRs have to say

turbochargers DO NOT pass oil into a catch can. a catch can will only catch blow-by. ie oil that passes out from the top of your rocker cover by way of high boost and or revs and or bad rings. nothing will stop the oil from a shagged turbo entering the plenum

i occasionally get a weird grinding/ whirring noise after selecting reverse with the clutch pedal in (disengaged), it stops once i the clutch is engaged. has done a few times after installation and appears to be lessening but i can never make it do it on demand, seems strange for an otherwise quiet and well operating gearbox

i took out the speedo sender with the box in the car, it is a VL though so i dont know how much the tunnel clearance varies, box didnt leak oil ether (it was jacked at rear right), undo the one retaining bolt and it should easily slide out

ok i just removed a broken speedo sensor from my r33 5 spd gearbox as it was not turning the cable, this is how i bought the box. there was however no gear drive on the end of the sender, I have a feeling it broke and was not put back in properly but just to be sure: if the shaft in the speedo sensor snapped what would happen to the cog and the other half of the shaft? will it drop into the box? because it is not there or anywhere near where it should be now any help appreciated
