  1. Hey guys while on the hunt for a new RB25 for my Stagea I found one at Autotech Imports here in Adelaide. Price was very good and they offered to install it for a extremely good price as I was going to install it myself. My question is has anyone used these guys for any work preciously? Any positive or negative opinions?
  2. Hey guys after a long motor (or complete) AWD RB25 to replace the dead one in my RS4. I'm located in Adelaide, does anyone happen to know of any suitable? Need to be in good shape of course. I know of a couple in Import yards but just checking whats out there privately. Thanks. Troy
  3. Located in Adelaide. Anyone got any ideas of where to start? Completely new to Nissan (usually a Toyota guy) so have no idea where to start calling.
  4. Hey guys got the bad news today that my RB25 is toast in my S1 RS4. Pretty frustrating considering It hapened after owning the car for less than a week. What RB25 will fit in without any major modification? Do all AWD versions from 33's and Stageas fit? Obviously RB25 neo is completely different and would require the correct ECU etc? Ive change alot of old toyota engines but nothing quite this complex is it a tough job? Im overall pretty handy but is there something I should look out for? Can the engine be lifted from the top or does it need to be dropped out with the whole subframe of a hoist? Do I seperate engine and box? Any help would be great guys.
  5. I don't think it will fit without some stretch and some camber. Here's mine that's an 18x10 +23 but with 225/40/18 and there would be a few degrees of camber there.
  6. Yes its just a standard replacement for an R33. Stagea stock core is 16mm! Car is 100% stock mechanically so nothing fancy needed. Part number is NIS039PACAK.
  7. Sorry guys forgot about this thread I posted. Ended up just buying an Koyorad Auto R33 Rad from my local parts shop as discussed in a previous thread. Fits flawless and has a 25mm core. Nope was not me.
  8. Ok guys had a pretty bad experience with owning my first Nissan so far (might have to stick to toyota). Was driving my S1 RS4 the other day and it stalled out. On inspection my top tank of my radiator basically exploded. water everywhere but didn't seem to overheat (or so the gauge said). So after 4 hours of waiting I got it home on a car trailer. Got a new radiator to suit today from my local shop, got one for an auto 33 that suited perfectly. Gave the cooling system a flush and connected everything and tried to start the car to bleed the head of air. However she didn't start. It just kept turning it over until i pumped the accelerator a bunch and happen to start and it was not right from the get go, idle was rough and there was what sounded like lifter tick. Drove it down the road, had a pretty big loss of power and was not quite right, then stalled out again and overheated despite the temp gauge at half, so I'm assuming my temp sensor for the dash is stuffed. Thought it might be head gasket due to the overheating but no smoke and no oil in coolant. Still doesn't want to start and when it does it runs like hell. Have I killed something electric by getting it wet? Have I caused some other major damage internally that isn't throwing the check engine light on? Tomorrow I'm hoping to chuck it on the trailer and take it to someone to have a look but I thought I would still chuck it up here as well.
  9. Hey guys top tank just went in my S1 yesterday, Im chasing down a replacement, does anyone has a good shape used one around? Or does anyone know where I could pick up an aftermarket replacement for suit an auto? In Adelaide. Troy
  10. Wheels are not exactly perfect fit for the Stagea. Rear is 18x9 +28 which is spot on for an auto rear end, fronts however is 18x10 +38 so I'm running a 15mm bolt on hubcentric spacer making it a 18x10 +23. Tried the 10's on the rear and although they fit with a 15mm spacer they hang out the guard quote a bit and although that's fine for my weekend cars maybe not for a daily driver. No scrubbing at all, full lock no problems. Here's a few other pics for anyone interested.
  11. Hey guys picked up a S1 Stagea about a week ago. Been busy doing a little tidy up this week. Very stock except for BC coilovers and Work Euroline 18x10 front and 18x9 rear. Black leather, super clean all round.
