  1. I'd like a time around 12 noon, if at all possible.

Though I will be there at 9am, to make sure everything meets my approval *yeah right... what do I know?*.

If this isn't possible, then I'll fit in whenever during the day :D

Thanks for organising this Nathan, been meaning to get it done for ages, but never got around to it!

  2. I was there... at the pub... what do you mean no-one remembered!

*teknikly i woz bored and wanted somehting to do, I didn't remember*

this is really late now, but better late than never

*except in the case of my G/F who missed a period and is PREGNANT!*

    Anyways... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

  3. I've been to a few of the illegal drags in Vic, well... the east-side one anyway!

very organised, but as mentioned previously... 1 in every 4 is actually good!

most of the night is spent going from venue-venue, have 7-8 runs... get back in the cars and leave due to police that have been called to the scene!

I left my car at home and went with a few mates in a stock Mits. Verada! Try and get defected in that :D

I don't condone street-racing, and rarely give my car stick at a set of lights!

As previously mentioned... it's about a rush, but I also think pride factors into it, and the whole 'my d1ck is bigger than your d1ck'.

for many it is pride in winning! but for the majority of Import owners it's pride in their vehicle and not wanting to risk the cops impounding it!

    just my 2c... :)

  4. I far as I know... if it come into the country and is complied with modifications... then it is fine for the road, any modification made within Australia need permits / engineer certificate!

    I don't know about wings though :D

As R31 Skyline Chick has posted... aslong as you're not going to slit some unsuspencting pedestrians throat, it should be fine :)

  5. he asked me how long it took to do on my computer...

I politely asked him to come back to the garage with me if he thought it was a fake and to ask the person that did the test for me :)

I then basically through the results back in the drivers window and went back to his car, says not another word.

the good ol' "Have a nice day" must only be reserved for when they give you a ticket and know your day is going to be crap!

  6. I got 'chased' down the road at 50km/h by a copper who also told me that my exhaust was too loud, and I needed a EPA test and had to hand in the result within the next 28 days!

I saved him the trouble and pulled out a piece of paper from the glove-box... an EPA test they did on my car with I got the exhaust fixed 15 mins earlier in Box Hill! :D

They just have bad days... get sh!tty 'cause they get traffic duty, and pick on ppl... not to worry!

  7. streamer... you can get a band-expander for about $20... all it does is clip between you ariel, H/U and into a power source!

I did my own installation on R33 GTS25-t and it took about 20-30 mins (first time you do something it always takes a bit longer)!

Would highly recommend it! This is a god price for such a unit! AUS versions (only made by Sony and Kenwood [that I found] go for around the $2000 mark... NEW)

I just got a new Kenwood unit from Japan for ~1500 and will fit a $20 band-expander ;)

    GOOD PRICE and easy installation!

PS> Blitz33... don't supose you want to part with your mounting bracket / harness for the stereo aswell (the reason I had to get a new unit is mine got pinched :D )

  8. might come down for a bit... finish work at 8pm... got to go and fix a friends computer... then might come down afterwards.

will you be in publics bar (is there any other areas?) I'll just do some burnouts in the car-park and when you hear me... come out.

*alternatively you can PM me a mob. # and I can call you when I get there*

  9. There is alot of crap on the first page... I didn't bother to read the rest... but the fact is that car would be sitting on the starting line if it weren't for the Nissan engine.

I really hate the MUZZA's that 'fink' the VL Turbo is the best holden ever, the chassis is sh!t, the handling is sh!t and the only reason you can get them to go resonably quick is because they have a nissan engine in them!

Zdenko and VLMuzza... I'll give you a race... a stock R33 GTS-t... you *might* win straight line, but what happen if you need to brake for traffic, or turn a corner???

You are real Muzza's, no-one really cares about drag-strips... someone will always beat you unless you invest a bunch of cash! the lights is where is all happens!

And talking about NEONs adding another 20rwkw... what about the f**kING Monster Tacho you put on your sh!t-box Auto???

    enough said.

    Actually... 1 more thing... WANKERS

  10. Greg... everyone is welcome, they just might be bagged for driving a hunk of sh!t... that's all

Your mate will serve for a cheap source of entertainment for the night :D

yeah... he's welcome... we had a drive-ins cruise a while back and one of Jet-33's mates rocked up in an old Commo.

    see you there

But then again, my engine is a finely tuned 2.5l 6cyl BMW engine with VANOS (still, it's stock)!

I couldn't agree more... why waste a clutch on a Civic, Lancer, etc. just take off normally then stick the right foot to the floor.... go for some rooling traction and let them think they 'beat' you!

The hardest I've ever taken off was a 4,000 rpm 'launch' against one of my mates R33's. This was in the city after the Auto-Salon... and he'll never race me again (until he gets more mods) :)

  12. these are the Super Advan Generation II's ?

if so... do you have any pics?

The 10" width won't fit on the back of a R33 GTSt will they? They'll stick out a bit of the stock wheel-arch?

what car are they on now/were they on? if you can get me pics of them on R33 I can see how they fit!

    That's my only problem!

    Thanks,

sorry to be such a pain!

  13. coco69... i really like the NAZI*cops touch on the number plate!

    that is great!

so fellas... who's coming to the MEGA CRUISE on the 29th???

any takers? I'll be there as long as I have my car back from the Insurance Peoples!

  14. I like the idea of both social and full.

Have the 2 options gives people the choice of wether or not they want to go out and do stuff, of use the club as a source of information for everything skyline related.

I started off coming here to find out more about skylines, but after a while i went on cruises and put faces to names.

Basically, I enjoy the cruises and attend when I can... the forums are excellent and I've been dieing for a track day!

I understand that there will be people that aren't in the same position as me, but CAMS affiliation would be great (though I understand costly).

I've never really givin it any thought until now... but this something that really needs looked into!

Although selling my skyline and buy a Civic with NEONS does sound appealing...
