  2. Im still looking for a neo head guys... There must be 1 out there some where?
  3. The stock rad has plastic pipe fittings on it, and it cracked as I was driving on the freeway. It was the top one, so before the water temp, so did not notice a change in temp. Lost water and warped and cracked the head. rest of engine is fine Now im trying to find a replacement head. I knew the valves were different and cams, but was not sure weather a normal rb25det head would fit, like the head block etc
  4. This has most likely been asked before, but is there a actual difference in the rb25det, and rb25det neo heads. I have asked a few people and they all say " not sure, think its to do with vvt" but no one is 100% sure. Ony asking as I have cracked my rb25det neo head, and im having trouble finding a replacement. And if anyone know where I could get 1 would be real good.. cheers
  5. After a neo head, north Sydney, central coast. Newcastle area. Does not need to have cams/valves etc, Just head block. cracked mine
  6. have you gapped the plugs right? sounds like they are not, close the gap some. Higher compression needs closer plug gaps to fire

  8. Damm he sold that head.. and I got a refund from paypal, so now I got the cash to sort something else out. Just want it sorted so I can drive.. lol
  9. Yer I been looking for a 2nd head, but no one has 1, or wants to part with it cheap or wants the same price as the valves.... The normal rb25 heads are different to the NEO. The only thing that might fit on the both of them is the exhaust manifold. Rest of hardware would have to be changed. I bought the ones from ebay over 2 weeks ago, and they are having "problems from there supplier" getting them. Now Im in a dispute trying to get my money back and got to look else ware. i got to wait for money to get back before I can buy new ones atm. Is there a link to Amayama Wolverine so I can check that out?
  10. OK, I had the idler bolt snap on my Rb25det Neo, which threw the cam belt on the free way at 110kph. As a result, both sets on valves are bent. yes all 24. So engine is in bits, and valves are out, but here it is...... Where can I find replacement valves other than Nissan. The place where the head is cant source them, and well the ***** on ebay say they can get them, but that was over 2 weeks ago. They arn't the same as a normal rb25det, as mine is a NEO, they seem to be a different size to others. Is this normal? Inlet About 104mm head 30.4mm tip 6mm shaft dia 6mm all approx. as I don't have verner exhaust about 98mm head 29mm tip 4mm shaft dia 6mm Nissan want, inlet $35 ea exhaust $59 ea With all the rb's out there, there must be someone who does them cheaper the nissan Need help pls
  11. Cool, sorry for some reason, cant post from my phone. But as I said with my setup atm, it will be about the 200kw mark. So I see a nistune would go past that, just was asking if there was ant other options out there. But im looking in the long run for about 285-300kw. So if nistune can handle that, im all good.
  12. Hi all, I have a r34 gt-t, and im after if any a ECU for it. It is an AUTOMATIC, And before ppl carry on, due to medical reasons, I bought an Auto, Other than a piggyback nistune, what are the options? Its stock other than FMIC and air intake, and coils. I know a nistune will be about 200kw mark, but looking for a little bit more down the track after a few more upgrades. hence why im looking at ECU. Cheers
  13. Hi im after a good polish here in AU. when I lived in the UK I used "Mer". It was the besy polish I came across. Its great against heat etc. but I cant find it here in AU. other then Autoglym crap, cant really find a good one. Any help pls?

  15. yer sorry, im on the central coast NSW, and I will be doing the work over the next few weekends, as day job gets in the way lol. car is just a street car atm, and its mainly driven on the weekends
  16. Hi all, a few weeks ago I changed the water pump, no problems there, but last week while I was driven, some thing had let go and I broke down. Just got it towed and looked at, and as I thought it was the timing belt. It did not break, but the idler pully came loose and threw the belt. now I got no compression and have some bent valves. Where is the best place to get all the gaskets, valves and any thing else for it. Its a r34 rb25det neo. And also when im at it, is there any mods that would be got while I have it apart?
  17. As far as I understand it, the clicking is the solenoid trying to keep the boost pressure up. Does your car boost ok and check the readings on a boost gauge. You may be loosing pressure from a leak. When you put your foot down and under boost, a flow meter sends a signal to a small controller in your dash, and that controls the amount of pressure your solenoid lets threw.
