  1. bugger im in chch nz no performance shops around this damaged town oh well ill see what my engine builder will say about the rods i have bought some oil squirters in the mean time hopefully that will be fine to lubricate the pistons

  4. hi there i have currently hit a cross road in my build i am running foraged internals in my rb30 and i am using manley rods and they have no oil squirters on them is it fine to use them or should i get oil squirters machined into them? or should i get some oil squirters machined into the block and will that be enough to lubricate the pistons cheers
  5. haha yea i know it was common scene just rushing things i did have smaller injectors on the motor but they didnt work because they were all gummed up so decided to use my bigger ones that i was going to use once i started tuning it with my aftermarket ecu plus i couldnt find my other set of injectors but managed to find them
  6. yaaaaaaay it started for the first time wooohhoooo so happy. had my mechanic mate come round he was mind boggled couldnt work out why it wasnt starting ether. so when he left i got some new sparkplugs and put in the smaller factory injectors in and boom it started cheers for your help guys
  7. yea they were soaked in fuel and black ill change the injectors tomorrow and the spark plugs ill buy some more then ill tell you the results cheers
  8. yea thats why im confused it has compression and ive put my hand over the throttle body and i cant feel it suck which leads me to think theres a vacuum leak
  9. yea a little so frustrating tho the engine doesn't sound like its sucking any air in but hoping i dont have to pull everything apart again
  10. yea one of the ecus have been tuned for the injectors all i want is to run it in with the standard ecu other wise i have a aftermarket ecu that i can wire in and try that straight of the mark
  11. i have a feeling its a vacuum leak im running some 850cc injectors high imp i do have other injectors that are smaller cc rating and running a r32 rb20det ecu i have two ecus as well\
  12. i made sure the fuel lines where around the right way and the spark plugs are brand new. ive hooked up the afm but im not sure if its grounded or not when i wired the computer into my vl i wired in the two constant positives and the one ignition wire
  13. ive recently put a rb30det into my vl commodore and ive wired it all up. the engine cranks it sputters but just wont fire ive checked the compression which is around 150psi per cylinder and checked that each coil is giving a spark which it is and each injector is injecting. if some one could help me out that would be greatly appreciated
