I bought a stock rb25 wastegate and actuator today and installed it. Its all running good now. Thanks everyone for your help

Did that also and it moves no problems

I ran a pipe directly from the pipe to the wastegate. Still no luck. Gonna try and chase down a new wastegate and see how that goes

I did this and the flap moves easily. Not fouling on anything. Yeah the boost tee is the right way. There is an arrow on it that has to be pointed towards the wastegate, which it is. The boost source is coming from the piping not the BOV.

Ill grab some pics in the morning. How would i diagnose this? And then how would I fix it if it is the issue?

I haven't tried that yet as I don't have a length of pipe long enough. I'm not gonna rule that out, but the boost controller was working perfectly before the turbo swap. If i cant fix it ill buy some pipe and try that though

Ill triple check that in the morning but im pretty sure its plumbed up correctly. Thats what has me confused. Ive checked all the basic stuff and no luck. Im just hoping for ideas on things I may have missed.

Hey guys, I have a r32 with an rb20det and an rb25 turbo. The turbo blew up and i replaced it with another rb25 turbo. Ever since replacing it the boost pressure wont limit itself. Anything over 3500-4000rpm causes the boost pressure to spike. It got to around 15 psi before i backed off to avoid damaging the turbo or other components. I have a turbosmart boost tee installed which was set to 12psi before swapping turbos and worked perfectly. After this issue i wound it right back to see if that was the issue but im still having the same problem. Any ideas on what the problem would be? Unfortunately it's still an issue. I ended up doing a test at all the coil loom outputs and I'm getting power. This makes me think the problem are the coil packs but it seems odd because they were working fine before.

Thanks for the help guys. The ignition module is definitely plugged in and the earth is connected. I have the earth connected here (see pic). Is this an ok position?

I replaced the rocker cover gaskets and spark plugs on my rb20det. It was working fine. Put it back together and wouldn't start. I pulled a coil and plug out and attempted to start it and found there was no spark. What could cause this?
