  1. okay so recently I bought from Japan the C211 2000GT-EX hotplates for my Australian delivered C211 upon fitting them I had the error light in my dash appear whenever the Parker lights were on if your like me this will give you the shits. I have also noticed on a few forums that this is a common thing in C210 and C211 hotplate conversions and have seen people say disconnect the error bulb in the dash again I like things to work the way they are supposed to. I had read that its because of bulb wattage also .. NO this is not correct On the Australian C210/C211 the tail lights have a 5 pin plug. On Japanese they have a 6 pin. If you plug in you lights and pull out the bulbs from the holder you will notice they are twin fillaments. On the inside light you will see the lesser bright fillament glows with the park lights. And on the outside parker you will notice the brighter fillament glows You need to re wire lights. On the hotplate plug cut the plain red wire leading to the outside light and cut the green with white stripe wire leading to both the inside and outside lights. Take the green with white stripe wire from the outside light and join to the green with yellow stripe wire from the inside light Take the plain red wire and join to the green with white stripe on inside lights This will now give you 4 working parkers and 4 working break lights amd error light will disapear And I tested with a blow bulb and error light still works as it should
