They are all alloy engine, that produce 254kw as base. Nismo racing in Super Gt series opt for this motor over the Nissan Gtr VR38DETT.....OH YES YOU CAN MAKE IT FIT.You can't be serious. Annihilate all. Watch old yes and no.https://youtu.be/dE76eJjVIac.
To be honest V35 wheelbase platform has far far greater capabilities and stability than any Rb26 could ever offer -
You can't be serious. Annihilate all. Watch old yes and no.https://youtu.be/dE76eJjVIac.Well, now we're talking about choosing between a much more modern all alloy V6 that is more likely to fit into the engine bay, or a vintage all iron low performance V8 that is likely to be too long, too heavy, too wide.......

Crank shaft sensor. When MAF sensor fails in V35 range a code is not needed as vehicle rpm will not exceed 1900rpm. Crank shaft sensor.

if it is a V35 could it possibly be the winding of the under bonnet antenna's that do make sound. I ripped mine out radio reception is still very clear. Might be way off. Every input is a step closer to the secret sound

well if you going to make such an effort. Why not a VK45DE.3.5L > 2.6 L.
More sense would be to swap in VQ37HR + boost. -
Changing of the different is well worth it for diff\gear ratios.UPDATE 03-05-18
Tunnel final prep completed and TIG welded into vehicle .TIG welding
Seam sealer applied for that OEM seal and look , Also primed and ready for reinstall of interior.
External shields refitted after under body prepped and primed.
Started install of flywheel / found 350Z pilot bushing would not fit into the crankshaft, so put it on my custom lathe(drill) and sanded it down for a nice fit.
Installing clutch and gearbox today / Will post more photos and an update when its done.
Here is a photo of the brake booster and clutch reservoir & lines fitted using all the OEM mounting points this was super simple.
Tunnel Build notes:- My mate and I both agreed after completing the tunnel job, cutting the lip to fit the gearbox would have been a lot easier.
- Ill be a lot happier knowing the handbrake mount is correct ( I've heard some horror stories [emoji14] you know who you are)
- This job will probably turn you into a heavy drinker.
- CVT tail shafts are not compatible with the 6MT 350Z driveline couplings. I ended up having to order a 6MT Diff too.$$$

Nice work Man...Once gear selector shaft has been unbolted (10mm sockethead)under square rubber grommet. Nothing should restrict the gearboxes installation. Did you manage to get 6mt crossmember support with gearbox or are you going to tap &dye new thread on current crossbar?UPDATE 03-05-18

You can option the centre console ducting to divert to glovebox or somewhere else and use as cold box for drinksthank you for the mention, however I think I now got to thank you. Now I'm in the mood to do another V35. Yes taking inhibitor switch off CVT and working wires out. Just find neutral and reverse. Give me buzz if any dramas after that. -

Did a few smaller jobs, wasn't feeling the best today..
*Cleaned up dirt covering oil spills from last week lol, actually came up perfect with degreaser & orange power & fine dirt from the back yard.
*Remove auto flywheel - easy. I have a new rear main seal. It looks like the one that's on there has been replaced maybe or Nissan just use a lot of RTV sealant from the factory. My mate said if it's not leaking and seems ok to just leave it. So I'll probably do that.
*Remove auto shifter / centre console - easy once I knew how. Two screws, one either side of console near seat, the console just unclipped as I pulled on it. Had to use the shiftlock to put the shifter lower into drive to lift the console up. remove hvac thing with two screws. then to get console out there are two screws near the front & two near the back. pretty basic. Also the manual console I have does not use the hvac to send air to the rear passengers, I guess coz I got a manual coupe console maybe? Doesn't really matter to me anyways but worth noting.
*Drivers seat electronic controls got stuck, fixed that - super easy with a quick search on here. Just removed the controls with two screws, unclipped and roughly cleaned. Was actually super surprised that worked lol. Was easy with the console out.
*Stared at diff for a while, contemplating getting started with the whiteline bushings, wasn't feeling it.
Next time I'll probably work on installing the clutch pedal. Still deciding whether to install the manual brake pedal I have or just chop the auto brake pedal. And get started with the Whiteline solid bushings, probably drop the rear subframe as I have the whole bushing kit. May as well..
On a side note when searching this forum about the centre console removal, I came across a thread where a member Adam left a post with his number. I thought f**k it and called the guy. Spoke to him for 30 mins helping me with this n that. Guy was super helpful since he's done this 6MT swap before. Hooked me up with the V35 manual too. Legend!!
Adam mentioned that one of the must do jobs or the car wont start is to properly index the flywheel. So I'm glad he reminded me about that. I'll admit I've been getting a bit too excited and I'm not really referencing the DIY guide link in the op. So I'll have a another read of that tonight.
That's all I can think of atm. I'm kinda burnt out. It was very humid today in Perth.
I'll try take a bunch of photos next time.
Peace

Just ideas for you man

Rizza well done on hand brake assembly. Are you going to opt for factory clutch line or and what I did is had custom made clutch line. Single complete length from clutch Reservoir to slave cylinder. Also air con ducting to rear seats can be rerouted to centre console storage to be used as fridge/ cold box

I know wrote this along time ago but gt-8s aren't electronic fans. They are old school clutch fans which are more efficientYour heat issue could be the electronic fan dicking around - it's ECU controlled and if not working these cars overheat very easily / do head gaskets. Common issue... -
Sorry Japan ?? region 2
-
I think it also must be same region. Australia is region 4. Japan region 3

When I owned a 250gt. I never found it sluggish. Infact try finding a 2.5 litre capacity vehicle on the Australian market that equals it's 160kw motor. (Naturally Aspirated). You won't, then consider the car is 16 years old. I don't believe any new car (2.5 litre) in our market comes close to its output. Great car.
-
If it happens again, try changing slave cylinder rod. Take original out and try finding a scrape piece of 8mm brass rod and reduce length by 1mm or so. May be the issue

Bose audio?
-
What do you mean by (head unit). Stereo or Instrument cluster?
-
Mate when it comes to V35's in Australia the most knowledgeable people are the owners of these vehicles. I'm on my second V35 now
-
If a six cylinder engine is maintained regularly then 150000 is around half its life
-
As police cars went they were an Australian export regarded as the most advanced police cars in the world. Our labour force cost can be blamed on one particular government department. OH&S
-
READ PROPERLY: As I said per capita. Remember only 25million in this country.
-
Terry I don't own a 370gt. However with 350gt there is a button on the windows regulator electric motor which you have to manually set when replacing. I like a garage rolla door. Perhaps this may work however just a guess

Thanks Leroy for sharing some cool pics. I am off to Japan in 4 weeks, can't wait now
