  1. Update managed to pull injectors and rail turned car over with injectors plugged in and facing in the air all appear to be spraying equally any ideas throw them my way please
  2. okey thank you for reply i will try and maybe take it down to nissan see if they are able to pull codes is there a way of testing the wheel speed sensors with a multimeter and if the reluctor ring is nackard is there a part number ?
  3. another thing I'm not sure what it is but when the throttle is opened past idle there is a click coming from the front of the engine like a solenoid is this supposed to happen ?
  4. 6 is still down guys I'm thinking maybe the 6th injector is jammed open or closed although when turned over without plug i can i think smell fuel would an injector flow enough fuel to wash out a spark ?
  5. Yes its very odd just suddenly stops almost like it is cutting out best way to describe its like an engine brake thought it may be due to throttle switch because going along around 30mph you are only slightly on the throttle around 1400rpm
  6. number 6 appears to be down still i fear it may be an injector clogged seams to be clicking away to itself if i listen with a rod to my ear although could just be the rest i will remove rail when i get chance on another side not is it just an auto ecu thing that its super jury when coming of throttle ?
  7. Thats the same as mine i will have a good look at the plug tonight what pc cable do i need there are different types 1,2,3, and what software have people had most success with ? sorry about novice questions new to the nissan life
  8. very interesting cam cover seals could do with a replenishment i will have a look over the weekend i will check the injector harness tonight seams that the pins can work out of the main injector harness plug in regards to cam i managed to get it running well for a few mins i think also the compression test would be not the best ? hmm sound mad though i have had a similar thing with audi tdi v6
  9. just been out to test and still no luck unplug number 6 no change in engine running tried a few coils cleaned the plug each time nice spark each time well out of the cylinder pull the plug and its wet each time look down the spark plug hole and the piston is glossy like it has liquid on top hmmm is the spark maybe out of phase due to cas ? or would they all be out of whack ?
  10. hmm interesting from memory my plug is not there also the fuse panel looks different hmm is yours an s2 ?
  11. ahh right that is good well am i correct in thinking that the com port for diagnostics is under the dash facing down just by the inner fusebox ? in that case mine is not there i will have a further look tonight
  12. hmm i will attempt a continuity test ? where are the plug ends for the wheel speed sensors ?
  13. no its a mines ecu although i can't even find the socket even if i could would it read th abs or is it just engine side of things ?
  14. Right guys retuminated crimped and soldered plus overbraided the hole coil pack loom inspected everything may have found a contribution to the misfire on 6 classic green corrosion on the small centre earth bit to late to test now i will report back tomorrow
  15. Right chaps just got back in replaced my relays with new ones not as hard as people say but to no avail still got the light on and still no flash from the brain when i turn the ignition should the relays click or prime the motor ?

  17. gapped them down to 0.9 i will try go bit lower although apparently you damage them gapping iridiums ? and yes coils rotated i will also try and use a stock coil on 6 see if that helps also i will loo down the plugs, thankfully i have already purchased new set of plug connectors for the coils i will update hopefully tonight
  18. plugs are new iridium gapped from factory all gapped identical as well condition of all plugs are identical rotated the plugs and the issue remains on 6 so this excludes plug problem ?
  19. plugs rotated to and no just 6 is out rest seam fine i can touch the manifold on n6 not hot hmm how to you check coil loom looked at it visually all seams to be quite flexible still may be worth doing a continuity check ?
  20. s1 stagea non neo cylinder number 6 stops working done a leak down test also compression test all look perfect so its not that re done the main earths for the engine not running at all managed to get it going for a short moment then its gone back to not working coils are new spitfires rotated the coils to exclude them also pulled plug on 6 comes out wet and washed like petrol has been flowing through we are getting spark also super annoying !   21. i have stripped mine down waiting for the replacements to drive now if this is the issue total cost to fix £6.10 still find it odd with no flashing codes on the module apparently if the relay is fubar it flashes pump failure or something along those lines
  22. can anyone give some insight into the cause done loads of searches but nothing quite adds up with the no flashing side of things ? is it due to lack of signal ?
  23. both topped up to the centre marks on a side note the clutch was recently changed could poor bleeding cause this issue ?

Well thats the thing no definitive answer as to where the said abs relay is is it attached to the abs manifold ? or next to it and no grumbling just stuck in rear wheel drive and absolutely no sign of abs under heavy braking just slides can you take a picture ? or i can of my bay and see what you guys think ?
