  1. Doesn't include stamp duty, luxury tax or GST.. It'll be around quarter mill on road.

Added bonus is it'll have some egoist bits added.

    (Info from Nissan AU contact)

But it may be tax deductible as it's a charity auction. So they'd be saving up to 46.5% on the purchase which would then make it worth it.

Just to make a point without going into too much detail. The above is simply a graph of "Total tax revenue as a percentage of GDP", it doesn't take into account economic structure, tax burden per capita (which is really the only relevant way to look at tax) and many other factors (productivity, wealth, standard of living, etc).

You can have a highly resource rich country with a low population and high productivity workforce that can have a low tax revenue as % of GDP, but can still be taxed 90% of their earnings, making them very highly taxed individuals. I suggest you consider that regardless of Gillard or not, there is a shift occurring in the world at the moment which would have benefited Australia regardless. The world NEEDS more resources, the world NEEDS more food and we just happen to be in a lucky place to provide that (both geographically and by chance...eg what's in the ground). I believe any dipshit government could have done what government achieved financially... we've just been lucky. Look at every other policy / initiative / action, fails, fails, fails.

I GUARANTEE to you that unemployment will rise in Australia soon and largely in part because of the Labor government. I can't wait for the NBN, it's going to make all my video chats / conference work with my outsourced international workers even clearer / easier. I might even consider hiring more people at 1/4 the cost of Australian labour.

  3. I am intending on painting my car in R35 gun metallic and was thinking to get the wheels done in black, specifically satin black. Does anyone have a photo of that color combo? Or anything close (full black wheels in either gloss, satin or matte)

Also, what about pictures of the gun metallic in a matte finish?

    Cheers guys!

  4. Was good to get out on a Stagea cruise again (I was passenger in the green stag), its been a while for me :P

We ended up hitting some rally roads around Lake Mountain / Marysville. We saw the Pursuit heading back up towards Lake when we were coming down. What happened there?

  5. i'm running 18x9.5+15 on my stag - so the 9.5+22 will sit 7mm in from them.

here's a couple of pics for you to see, my guards are rolled and i'm running 235/40/18's. a shite load of camber and a bee's dick of clearance but zero scrubbage :(

    100_0545.jpg

    100_0572.jpg

and this is a 4WD height with less camber. even though they protrude, there was no scrubbage ;)

    hope that helps somewhat :)

alternatively, buy the wheels in my sig :( - make an offer :)

Good to finally see someone else in Australia with some balls to run decent fitting wheels.

9.5 +15 is "GTR offset", fits stags perfect up front and rear. nice work on the height as well. *claps*

18 x 10 + 20 rears and 18 x 9.5 +26 fronts with 25mm bolt on spacer to bring it to +1. Needed a lowering of 25mm front with a bit more camber and 15mm rear same camber.

stock guards, just lipped. no scrubbing.

  6. Yeah man, the laws here in Vic are pretty relaxed towards cars. *sarcasm*

Put it this way, for me, the wheels were the least of my worries if I got pulled over. And well, I didn't get pulled over at all and went to many "hotspots" with cops. They tended to go for the more sporty, older, sports cars.... not the family car with wheels.

9" +20 IS conservative. That's the truth. But its about taste, so its not something "bad" in any way.

PS. Dave - Arch (@ Rampant) told me you spoke to him, I am now certain you will get something hella sweet!

  7. there's no way 9.5" +20 rims will fit without touching the guards, especially in the rear.

    Justin...

sweet dude, if u see me around give us a wave.

Ditto, even 9" is a really neat fit at stock height.

Are you kidding me, the rear guards on Stagea's are HUGE. 10" +20 fit a breeze with only a lipping (that is bending the inner lip on the guard up, it was not flared at all)

....oh...and thats 9.5 +1 on the front, no scrubbing, nothing, not at that 4wd height. Needed a 20mm lowering on the front and 10mm on the rear, I just didn't have enough adjustment.

9" +20 will be flush on the rear, and slightly sunken on the front. I'd run 9" +20 and 9" +10 on the fronts if you wanted to be conservative, like most other Australians' wheel fitments.

  8. The VS KF's themselves didn't rub on the rear guard, it was the "rim protection" on the tires that were fitted at the time that was rubbing on the inner guard. This wont cause any damage to either the wheel, tyre or guard.

They were definitely not rubbing on the coilover.

Rubbing is my kind of wank, hahaha

  9. can you post a pic of your height with the 10 +20?

    Clicky -> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=3525623

    IMO it wasnt low enough.

I would have loved to go maybe another 2cm on the rear and 3cm (+camber) on the front so it sat on its lips and got sick wheel on gaurd rubbing action up front, but hey, australian cops+roads suck..Needed more stretch on the front too....would have liked more gaurd work too if i wasnt intending on selling it when i bought the wheels...

    Yours is mint.

  10. you have adjustable rear camber kits in the upper control arms.

the 10 +20 fit fine on the rear with current camber. 9.5 +38 (less 5mm so +33) will sit further in, hence the rubbing. run a bigger spacer or adjust the camber.
