  1. Bought the R34 GTT cooler for my WC34 Stagea. Used it for a while and then moved on to a TRUST GTR FMIC. R34 SMIC great upgrade on R33 and stealth (cops)

Some slight fin damage on the 34 cooler. You can see the improvement over the R33 one when compared side by side.

R33 intercooler still in good condition. R33 intercooler comes with ducting. R34 never had ducting, doesnt come with ducting (Can adapt R33 one to it)

Also have a standard cat from my Stagea. Fits R33 etc etc

    Asking as follows, R34 - $200, R33 - $30, Compliance cat - $30

Items can be delivered ANYWHERE Australia wide at your cost.

    Please PM,

  2. I know I probably should not post in this section, but I think it will be a little more effective than posting in WTB.

If anyone knows someone selling an R34 RB25DET manual 5 sp, please let me know. It has to be an R34 one because I need to use the pull type clutch system.

I am willing to pay between 1500-2000 depending on condition and availability.

I have called heaps of wreckers, no one has one. :P

  3. Hello all,

I need to borrow an RB25 flywheel and pressure plate to measure up some things against a 4G63 flywheel/pressure plate and see if I can fit the Evo wheel/Clutch in an RB25 box or see how much modifications I need to make the bellhousing. I will need it for about 1 week.

And before everyone asks, 4G63 + Rb25 box + S13. No, I wont change my mind. Yes, it will cost a lot. No, I don't care. :P

    Thanks

    Alex

  4. I hate emissions for this matter!

The annoying thing for you is the fact that emissions go based on the year of the vehicle.

For example, I want to put a 4g63t out of an Evo 8 into a 1990 Silvia. I went and spoke to an engineer about it and he said the car only needs to pass 1990 emissions standards. The fact that I am using a 05 motor means that I wont have a worry in the world. For this reason, I am going aftermarket turbo and motec from the start as I know even like this, I will pass emissions for engineering..

Messed up situation mate, I hate to hear about it

  5. cheers duncan thanks for your help, much appreciated. at least your helpin out where as yokotas13 is just being a dip! "yeah fully sick lets go drift the stagea" mad one knob swab, my car is a cruiser, im not gunna fark with it to drift, it too nice a car, yokatas13 grow a brain, not everyone is into slammin cars and looking like tools, if the car scene was like that i wouldnt be into it. :laughing-smiley-014:

    Ahhh, dude, calm down.

I dont think he was being a dick, just simply making a remark. So, he wants to slide a Stagea, who cares. You are being the hater here, not him.

All motorsport should be respected in any form, a drifting or a sliding wagon. Doesnt matter if its not your style, its someone elses.

But honestly, from me to you, what the hell was the point of making this thread? Have you even had a look under your dash at your pedals. You might then notice that the brake pedal sits up close to the steering console on one side and then on the other side sits.... the foot brake. How would you fit a pedal in there? You cant. Who the hell wants 4 pedals any way, there is absolutely no logic to that.

Anyway, all the best with the conversion.

  6. Ive never had an issue in a carpark and ive had to park in some stupid stupid spots.

On another note, want more lock, get aftermarket tie rod ends and adjust them for more lock, then a wheel alignment to adjust toe.

Otherwise, remove the rod ends and insert some spacers, aka washers, when screwing the rod end back in. This will do the same thing but in a less safe more borro drifter kinda way....

  7. Dont cheap out on gauges mate, they are what tell you whats going on. I am not saying spend $250 a gauge, but at least get autometer or 2nd hand japanese ones.

A/F gauges are useless because they use a narrow band O2 sensor, not a wideband like is needed.

  8. Nice wheels luke!

On another note, from past experiences I think that will set you back between 5-7k to fix that if you are doing it "well".

I also have a set of the highbeam headlights for sale for a series 2. I bought an extra pair when I was going my front end. $175 the pair delivered (I got them for about $300 delivered off yahoo)

  9. I just redid the entire brake system on the Stagea

DBA slotted fronts as per this thread

    Bendix 1250 front pads

    Bendix 1144 rear pads

    Genuine Nissan rear brake discs

    Genuine Nissan rear handbrake shoes

Rebuilt all the brake calipers (new seals, new pistons in 1, cleaned, some silver coating, greased)

    The total was about $1250

  10. I had it for sale, at a f**king fair price and no one snapped it up.

I am going to keep it now yep, going to become my new tow car and daily.

Going to give it more power and roo-killer spec it with some fog lights and big CB atenna for use when out friday nights
