  1. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/jandakot/cars-vans-utes/1990-nissan-180-coupe/1082815794 I found this little gem on Gumtree. I have a 10k budget, and want something for a daily driver/weekend fun. My main issue is I don't want to be constantly fixing my car, or regretting my purchase. The problem I see with this car is a few of the parts are infamous eBay parts, and have less than favourable reviews, and the clutch is apparently a pain for street driving. What do you guys think? Am I looking a money pit, or a good purchase?
  2. Correct. It's just a project car. My goal is to make it like the kid who dress in a tuxedo to go to his prom, but is wheelchair bound with cerebral palsy. Retarded and everyone can see it, but dressed up nicely. Basically as many unnecessary accessories as I can fit into the worst car I can find. Scissor doors will be one of them. Still looking for advice. Can I make my own instrument cluster legally or not?
  3. I bought an 89 Mazda 121 with a manual transmission, and I want to install a tachometer. Easy enough job, but I don't want to halfass the job. I want to make my own instrument panel with new gauges, which is also easy enough. However; a friend claims that if my car gets a yellow sticker for whatever reasons, and I need to pass the pits, a custom instrument cluster is a red flag, and I won't pass. Can anyone give me any information regarding the WA law on such things? A link to general things you get failed for would also be nice. Thanks in advance
