  1. Cool thanks for the advice will double check the afm and see if thats the problem, maybe worth re soldering it hopefully does the job
  2. Im not too sure it could be started it today and i have a real loud whining noise once the car starts, if thats the case are the warlbro 255 fuel pumps almost a straight replacement.
  3. I have tried a few things so far checked vacuum leaks, cleaned afm, changed fuel filter with no luck
  4. R33 issues Hi sorry if this has been covered before but my car would run fine then all of a sudden it was misfire and hesitate really badly on acceleration then would just stall then when you start it again it will be fine for a bit before it does it again im totally confused i had a computer scan on it came back clear, has become undrivable so just today i also tried to check boost while car was idle boost will come on then would struggle and stall, any help be greatly appreciated cheers
  5. To be honest I'm not sure what makes it premium according to the sales person it's better than the standard and uses synthetic treated element for filter. Very informative link
  6. That's what had me worried abit as well and managed to get a good deal on a K@N for not much more than a premium ryco would've costed me they also look like bigger filters as well so more filtration and better flow.
  7. I wish I found this website earlier would've saved me heaps of time and cash on unnecessary stuff. Thanks for all the advice
  8. I know not every drop comes out at oil changes I'm definitely looking for a new workshop, I thought it could be losing oil somewhere cause usually when I service I don't require any top up. As for dramatically losing performance just was told oil was to thick to flow properly but I now think that's not the case and I doubt it needs a new dyno tune after a few months. As for the filter I done some research and it's definitely not worth the extra cash so going to be using ryco filters from now on.
  9. In that case I think my mechanic doesn't know what he's talking about if no one else has had problems with standard ones it makes no sense getting more expensive ones
  10. I was told by my mechanic the other ones don't work well on performance engines. If they the same will just get a normal one
  11. If only all work on the car was that easy, i'll change it this weekend just have to find a greddy oil filter somewhere in Perth except from eBay takes too long to come
  12. Lol, I will do thanks for your advice
  13. Is that how sensitive engines can be, definitely answered question not driving my car anywhere till I service it not worth the risk
  14. Thanks did you feel any difference in acceleration and just general driving
  15. Yeah I didn't realise it was that important the guy at the store said it should be fine.
