  1. I need one, I see Am performance have one, but I'm not looking to go to a 3in exhaust. I know Scotty used to make them but also read that Daleo made a 2.5in unit. Is this true?

    How do I get one?

Does anyone have one, not the original of course?

Second hand would be great. My car has the original, connected to a V35 mid section and original/modded muffler.

    HELP PLEASE.

I bought a new head unit and am having the same problem as everyone else. The new HU is a pioneer mvhs405bt. It has no sub input but does have front and rear RCA's if I follow your guide will this get me sound without having to run wires to the amp in the rear if I don't care too much about the sub working

So, what I did any way was.

Used Nissan to ISO connector Dna Awh3120.

    ISO to pioneer aepro APP0120.

Connected them up then ran a wire from the blue/white wire in the aepro connector to the green/yellow on the oem loom which is on the speaker connector. Mine only has the rear speakers in it, there are two extra wires.

One is the G/Y,  I then cut the aerial cable off and soldered an ordinary one on.

I put a cheap deck in, a MVHS405bt. I can't play it over about 1/4 volume, it's so oooo loud. I can get all Sydney stations.

  3. I just put a set of R-SR front springs in my Nm35. After taking the old springs off the struts, I pushed down on the struts and was able to push them down every easily.

Not good huh. I put it all back on with the new springs. Pushed down on the front of the car and it sprung back at me like an expectant puppy.

How much for a new set of struts and what type, I see people talking about Bilsteins on this thread that's why I'm asking.

If the fronts are anything like a PNM35 ('04+) then you better have hands like a Geisha girl to get out one of the left-side strut top mount bolts. It sits under an A/C pipe so expect to use some inappropriate language.

Other than that, pretty simple stuff. I had to do the rears but from pictures I've seen it'll be easier than the front.

The stock springs are pretty stout and ate one of my spring compressors because I didn't get enough coils in between the jaws, so try to get as many coils as you can between them.

    Thanx for that.

I have a set of BC gold adjustables to go in. Seems pretty straight forward to put in. I'll be doing it in my garage on my own.

Thanks for that. I'm only doing the springs so expect to need a spring compressor. Bought them after a couple too many, now have to work out how to do it ??

  6. He didn't hack the loom, he made up wires to go between them, so no problem there. As the car is over ten years old they don't have to give a warranty in NSW. Didn't know any of this until I got the paper work two weeks later. He did pay for the late fees on the rego & a $100 towards the brakes.

I have recently had the same problem on my NM35.

My 4WD light was coming on after a few minutes of driving. This then turned into every time i started the car the 4WD light would be on.

While the 4WD light is on the ATESSA is not active so it will be running in RWD.

The problem end up being (after a long time troubleshooting) a relay located under the air filter. This relay controls the ATTESA pump. Without the pump no 4WD.

This relay in not available threw Nissan anymore so i had to addapt a generic 40A relay.

This has fixed the problem completly and 4WD light has not come on again and ATTESA is working perfectly.

I have attached some schematics that helped me out.

I hope this helps someone out as i spent ages figuring this out.

    Cheers

Thanx sooo much for posting this. It fixed my car. I bought my car from a Sydney Importer & the 4WD light came on 2 weeks after I got it. His Mechanics looked at it once then they told me to go somewhere else the next time. I found this and took the car to my mechanic, who checked through the whole system then the relay and it was dead. He wired in a 40A generic and BOOM attesa pump fired up and no light.

Also I bought my M35 about 2 months ago and came on here to find out about it before & after. Had a problem with the Attesa Pump Relay after the 4WD light came on, solved it with help from info I found on here.
