Thanks man, car is registered! Time to enjoy it. But if anyone has questions let me know happy to help others avoid my pitfalls.
Did Car Inspect get back to you?
How bad was the actual "structural" damage?
What front surgery was required?

Wow mate that's huge, congrats. Glad you found better people to deal with and all seems like it's going in the right direction.

These drives seem amazing, is there a particular group who host such things or more so a bunch of mates. Would love to attend one.

Also pics of dump please

Those dates are probably compliance dates. The shop who did my RWC put the compliance date instead of manufacture date, had to go back to get it sorted since I was going club permit and it had to be >25 years.

...Temp is a rock solid 88° now as indicated by the Android gauges....
Hey man, does the temp go up if in stand still traffic? Mine also usually floats around 87-88c but gets up to 90-91c if in traffic, and I have been told that those numbers are too high.
Not too sure if I should be getting worried or not, thanks.

What is considered a dangerous temp on an Rb25 anyway? When should you be worrying vs when damage occurs?

Do you have a water temp gauge or consult cable to see the temps also?

Looks the goods mate, is the turbo hitting the valve cover?

If you really want it to fit, a roll/mild pump and 225 will do it with natural camber.

Old as thread but what were thoughts about 18x9.5 + 15? Will these poke alot? Obv rolled guards and camber adjustment
Will fit with camber and max 235 tyre size depending on how low you are.

Message the boys at Shockworks, tell them what you're looking for and they will set up a set of coilovers for you. Best in the business imo.

Would you sell the rails and bracket separately? If so, do you have pictures of them. Thanks.

What's wrong with standard Mani? Or are you doing it purely for looks?

What a legend, he actually posted a skid vid 😂

What is a good water operating temp on a stockish r33 anyway? Just installed a water temp gauge and seeing temps float around mid 80s. Stop start, highway, 28'c degree day.

Hey mate are you paying comprehensive? They asked if I had modifications which it is does, but just the usual - exhaust, Pod filter and fmic which was how I purchased it . I’m not sure if this would make much of a difference or if people don’t mention this stuff?
Yeh mate full comp, similar mods which I told them all about.
Also locked garage and purely a weekend car, forgot how many km a year I told them but.

I did notice on the Shannon’s quote, they offer a 65% no claim bonus after 3 years. Perhaps that’s why you guys are getting such good rates now?
im in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Insured value of 19k
Hey mate, I'm also in the western suburbs, similar profile as you and I pay roughly $1000 for my R33, valued at $17000 with Shannons.

We have one of these in our R33 track car. Had it for around 3 - 4 years, and works fine. Car is driven by 2 not-skinny-or-light drivers.
You would also need a mounting bracket of some description. Ours uses a 1 piece bracket that bolts into the original 4 seat mounting holes, but the design of the bracket (and the fact that it's designed to get the seat quite low) means that it isn't a 10 minute job to install or remove - your 330i may be different.
Hey mate, what bracket are you using? Thanks.

Loving the brakes my man.
Perhaps pod filter, heat shield (black) and cold air feed? Worse case k&n panel filter, don't pay jdm tax.

Ah ? I see. Nah, I'm all good for horsepower for now, that Plenum was a potential solution to my main problem, but heat wrapping looks like the way to go.
Heat shielding.
Coilover touching front upright arm?

Usually the lower mount has a thicker/wider side, see image of the right side of the lower shock mount.
Don't see why a couple of washers wouldn't do the same job.
