    your basic idea is right, however the details are wroung

    1.there is no size limit "however if u have a 5inch exhaust im guessing ur legal ride height is compromissed"

    2.you can have your exhaust tested at a exhaust shop, however it wont do shit for you when the police cheak it

    3.the police cannot send you to the botany or penrith testing station's, they can however notify the d.e.c.c "e.p.a" which inturn will send off a nice lil letter, requesting you pay them a visit and "cheak" if you have all legel/certified modification's. also note an engineer's for the exhaust,fmic mean's jackshit because the testing station cannot certfy that is the exact same exhaust,cooler etc etc.. therefore if its not standard chance's are you will asked to rectify these problem's or head down and have it pass an emission's test..

    so in short, there is nothing you can carry around with you to certify that your car is legal, from a noise side or emission's. engineer's etc only help's if the coppa doesn't do his job.

    I live in singleton NSW and the cops here are really bad on defects. I had my car defected for Exhaust, front mount, and pod. The exhaust i got a test at the local exhaust shop where they gave me a piece of paper with the test results on it to keep in my glove box. The front mount and pod i was told i had to take a day off work, travel about 3 hours to penrith to have an emissions test to clear the defect. I put the standard filter and cooler back on to clear the defect until i got done again.

    I'm just looking around for interest from guys and girls from the Newcastle area who would be interested in helping out for my wedding on 1st November. The cars are only needed for about 2 hours to pick my bride and bridesmaids up from Singleton Heights and then drive to Hunter Valley Gardens and maybe stick around for a couple photos.     I thought the seats might be R32 GTR as I have seen a couple pictures of both and they look more like the r32 gtr but the guy i bought it off said they came out of a r33 v-spec gtr. I don't have the internet on at the moment but as soon as i can i'll put a couple pictures up and maybe someone might be able to help. I've had 3 people tell me that the r33 gtr was the only car to come out with red stitching. The width and length are right but the mounting pins are all over the place and the arch in the centre where it goes over the tailshaft looks way too high.

    did u buy them from ebay by any chance?

    I bought that rear seat off Ebay and it doesn't fit into my gtst. The pins that go into the floor are too far apart and the lugs on the back rest are too low and don't stick out far enough? Do Gtr seats only fit into series 2 or all gtst. Mine is a series 1.5. but i've been told that series 2 seats fit into series 1 anyway?? If i can't get them to fit I'll just have to sell them and make myself a nice little profit.

    I've got a blown turbo but I need a good one to replace it. If I can get a working one I will be getting rid of mine.

    I have 2 front guards off a R33 gtst, Not really sure what they are worth. Both have a slight tear at the front where the front bumper bolts on but it is nothing major. I'll put them up for $80 each or $150 for both.

    Turbosmart Type 2 Blow Off Valve, blue base with adjustable gold top, comes with R33 adaptor. $80 including postage. Also I think it is a M-Spec front bar not sure, Needs a little repair on bottom from steep driveway. $150 I will put pictures up in the next couple hours of all parts.

    Hey guys - Sunday was awesome.

    Many thanks to everyone involved: especially chris, paul and stace. Great to meet all new faces too. Ill have to get you to send me you pics/vids (Ian & Chris). Ill PM my address.

    Funny how Ian was talking about living out in Singo and a few of the cops out here being harsh. Well 3 hours later when i was riving back to singo i got randomly pulled up by a highway patrol and defected for 5 differnt things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bov (releasing to atmosphere), pod (noise level), adjustable boost controller, exhaust (noise level) and tyres.

    Then he had the hide to tell me my apexi rsm was an apexi fc!!! And didnt wanna believe that it wasnt a programmable ecu device.

    NOT HAPPY ~~~ had the car back for 6 days and now its off-road again lol. Oh well.....

    Any suggestions on easy cheap fixes i can use to obtain my blue slip quickly? Ive talked to Linton and he's given me some tips so far.

    Hey everyone. I'm hoping i'll be able to come on sunday. I have a white 1995 R33 GTST and have been waiting to go on a cruise and meet some new people. Moving house tomorrow so it all depends on how that goes, but i'm gonna do my best to get there. By the way is there anyone from Singleton going that wants to meet up somewhere and cruise down to speers point in the morning?

    I'm just waiting for the next time I get pulled over cause I've heard around the town that once he pulls you over once he follows you whenever he see's you. I saw him again last night sitting in the Shell garage. But he can't keep doing it forever, it must look wrong in the books where he is giving out at least 10 defects a night, a lot more than most other cops would.

    Just wondering if there is anyone from Singleton who has had trouble with Sargent Smith? I got defected the other night for noise. Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem around the area. Apparently he has a list of all the cars around the area he is after. Also I need a standard air filter to get the defect cleared if someone can lend me one for a day it would be a big help.
